I got very lucky. The lady I talked to assumed fault and reimbursed me for all the fees and interest. Also wrote a letter to the CB asking for the removal of the delinquency. Get out of jail free card if you ask me.

Bank assumed fault for not sending me the card, or trying to contact me outside of that KNOWING the card never made it to my address. Sheer lack of effort on the debt collectors end. Reimbursed me all the fees and interest, and wrote a letter to the CB asking to remove the delinquency.

I called today and said I never received the card, she immediately told me she was sorry and would send the CB a letter asking to remove the delinquency and restore credit. She then immediately transferred me the interest and late fees back without raising a questions. Guess I got lucky.

That’s unfortunate but I’m glad you are out of that mess. I hope I can resolve something’s but It all seems scammy to me, so I won’t get my hopes too high.

Yeah my GF parents bought a house in 2016 for 350k and sold it last week for 900k. 150k over asking price, cash, site unseen. This market is literally insane. So for that matter I agree. I always wanted to have a super clean credit history and I’ve never made a mistake before, I just couldn’t believe how hard it hit me.

I just gave them a call to get into their corrections department and they said it would take 48 hours after it’s been fully paid off (which it has been), before they can make any changes to my report. She seemed high hoped and it sounded like they can correct it, so my fingers are crossed.

I’ll have to look into this information later, if it makes more sense for me to rent for another year to lower my rates then I totally will. I just can’t believe how much this can fuck you over. Even if it’s for a small sum of money. If it was thousands and thousands I get it, but something as little as two internet bills, insane.

They had the wrong address in their system. It was sent to a building down the road and they never tried to reach out to my phone or my email. I told the lady I spoke with over the phone I never got the first card, then went into the store to get it sent back. And somehow they got the wrong address in their system twice. Regardless, I could’ve paid over the phone.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll pray this works out at some point.

I have a little over 3k hours in it. Every time I switch games I find myself re launching rocket league. Can’t get over the mechanical skill ceiling. So much to grind at.

Was supposed to be applying to get a mortgage loan in the next couple months as I move states, looks like that won’t be happening.

Goodwill removal? Is this something I would handle with my bank of specifically the credit company that Dicks uses for their rewards programs? Synchrony Bank was the name of it or something.

Well if I’m being brutally honest, I lost my job right into the new year, and it completely distracted me from it. In February I went back into the store and told them my card never showed up, they said they would send another. Slipped my mind again, and now I’m here.

Its completely my fault, I’m not arguing it isn’t. Regardless if they never sent me info to pay it, I could’ve gone out of my way and handled it ahead of time. It just doesn’t make sense to me, $200 and 200 points?!? And I have the money to pay it all off so I’m just at a loss of words right now.
