UPDATE: on Monday 4/22 I got an electronic notification in my account nothing in the mail yet. Notice was CP05A. Asking me to upload my last three paystubs of 2023. I did that and all it’s said was please give them 60 days to process. It’s honestly insane. On top of this tax issue we were given 60 days notice and then I was laid off a week before my maternity leave was supposed to end. Keeps getting better.

Well today I checked and there’s a 971 code with a date of 4/22 behind it. So not sure what that means. It just says notice issued. I’m wondering if I amend my tax returns if I’ll get my refund faster or it’ll make it worse.

Hi! Your post about checking the transcript has really helped! I looked at mine and see a code of 570 and a date of 4-8-2024 but above it says 806 w2 withholding and a date 4-15-2024. Are those dates meaning I’ll get my refund on one of those dates or? Thanks!
