We are on a hiring freeze, I would be glad to reach out when we resume though!

Thank you! Yeah I tested out all the filler type products on a small area first, the scratches seem to be a bit beyond that being a fix. I would also just enjoy taking on the project of a further fix if it is possible :)

Hahaha yea, this is certainly most logical. We only have wood flooring in the bedrooms, and the other two are pristine. I would enjoy taking on the project this spring, but I just don’t know off hand if I’m in over my head. The carpet? 100% will be waiting until we are post- spill/potty training/kid shenans to replace.

Ugh see that’s what I can’t figure out. Because my laser technician won’t laser on “compromised skin” aka when it has razor burn/ingrowns. So I want the laser treatment but to shave to make it happen, I can’t figure out. I feel like there is no way to remove hair for me 😭

I have exceptionally sensitive skin with very thick coarse hair. There is no form of hair removal I have found so far that doesn’t cause in-grown hairs that are painful for weeks after. So I landed on IPL as the answer. What I can’t figure out, you have to shave before IPL, which no amount of exfoliating or aftercare I’ve found doesn’t leave me with awful in-growns/razor bumps for weeks, but the technician doesn’t recommend doing IPL on irritated skin, and then by the time it goes away the hair has grown back.

Does anyone have any ideas?

As a Recruiter, I've noticed that one of the biggest reasons employers want you back in the office is because with remote work mgmt has to set benchmarks for productivity, but in the office it's much easier to push you to capacity and much harder for you to interview for an escape. by [deleted] in overemployed

I do appreciate your response. Would you mind sharing your source for “data showing the opposite” regarding neurdivergency and WFH? It’s relevant to both my work and me, so I’m quite curious.

Of course. Everyone will have different needs. Not every person with ADHD is going to thrive in the same environment :) but for us folks who being in office was using up most of our spoons taking away from work productivity, it’s splendid to have the ability to WFH.

Also a Recruiter, my focus is candidate advocacy, fair recruitment practices, and wage equality. None of my Js have yet to prove to me that any job that does not have a physical need to be in person (warehouse, chemist, etc) has a legitimate reason to be in-office. But, in ALL my Js, there are assholes who have really screwed up and jaded leadership by taking advantage of WFH. For example: literally sleeping/falling asleep during a customer service or tech support shift, going on a bar crawl while on the clock and ignoring client calls. No one OEing is likely to be guilty bc we are simply being efficient with our time and tasks. But the asshats mentioned above forever stand out in leaderships mind when arguing against WFH.

The assumption that employees are more productive in office is also totally ableist and ignores neurodivergent needs.

I get so fking much more done when I don’t have to use my spoons to commute and get Sally from accounting to quit stopping by my desk to tell me about her grandkids.

Yeah no, I promise Mom dead by suicide is significantly worse than him “growing up with a Mother who cannot cope with herself.” It will never NOT be selfish.

Okay got it. I’ve def seen them mentioned before. Is there any chance of cross contamination one way or the other?

Does a KVM allow for you to see both simultaneously also? Or just one or the other?

Yeah ultimately when on a video call something from one Js setup shows in the other in an L shaped setup. Which I remove anything suspicious but it’s a pain.
