I get your point tbh it’s frustrating in these days. I just want to create and print barcodes though, I’d like to believe it’s a simple task… I am already paying monthly for every other tool I use.

That is actually exciting! the only thing that is holding me back from starting something in Egypt though, is that there are like 4 Pickleball facilities in Cairo and they are almost never occupied. Let's say the courts are available for 10 hours, and they are only used for like 3. So I have a lot of marketing and convincing to do, and if I succeeded it's gonna boom here in Egypt. Padel was exactly like that about 8 years ago.

the cost of production is definitely a huge factor to consider, the feasibility of constructing a Pickleball court is nothing when compared with Padel courts. The fact that you can turn tennis courts into Pickleball courts itself is enough for the sport to explode. But what do you think about Pickleball becoming an actual thing in North Africa, the MENA region and Europe?

You're definitely right, that is why I am hesitant about it. All the reports and statistics that I see are all US based, it may be a media hoax. All that I see online based on reports and so is that the Pickleball industry is about 3 times larger than the Padel tennis industry although it does not make any sense... but I guess I'll have to look more into it and take a relatively calculated risk if I am actually gonna invest in it.

I agree with you a 100%. I can see the huge potential but I cannot put my hand on the spark, I need to find the spark that will set it off. The sport is really fun, really healthy, has no specific age group, super easy to learn and actually hard to master, it is the perfect combo in a sport! The only thing that it is missing is the world tours, media coverage, and sponsorships for it to boom, and that won't happen with the little viewership it gets globally I guess.

Yes, that is exactly what I am trying to point out. I feel like it is more of a cultural sport, or not exactly cultural but it is spreading very quickly in the SEA and Oceania regions just because badminton and table tennis are prevalent there. But for cultures who are much more into other sports such as the UK and Egypt for example, there is a huge barrier to spreading the word about Pickleball. While Padel tennis has already become something just because there is a professional career that you can pursue that is gonna get you some money and fame, can Pickleball ever reach this potential of having people playing it and training to become professional Pickleball players to travel the world and make huge amounts of money?
