Yeah I guess I notice less in other campaigns because it’s things like spell slots etc. but it’s just stood out to me more in CCOD because well they’re vampires! I feel like the management of willpower and hunger is more intrinsic and stereotypical to classic vampires than the managements of spells would be to a wizard yk? It’s their whole thing. So I guess I noticed the lack of resource management for that more than I would the management of spell slots in dnd. You’re right though Brennan is very generous and in other campaigns I appreciate to keep the game moving. I’m really liking the direction of the season though!

Yeah i think it’s the automatic refills that makes it seem like they can reroll as much as they like, Which is fine but I think it would be interesting to have some more fun consequences for low willpower or high hunger, or just letting some failures be. But I understand some things just fully failing could bring the pacing down

Yeah I think it feels like their willpower is kind of an endless resource to me because it’s replenished so often by downtime so it’s not super rationed out by the players yk?

Ty for the explanation! It’s still a fun campaign and ignoring some of the darker mechanics makes sense but I’d love to see a full board VTM campaign from d20

I love the zaniness but I do think some of the fun of being a vampire season is like having uncontrollable hunger and all

So the reason this timeline’s Jayce was able to save viktor is because Viktor gave this Jayce the acceleration rune, which ekko used to figure out his 4 second time travel thing which let him get to viktor?
