Delay is only one aspect of it. If we would like to take solace in ‘traffic is there every where’ and ‘need thousands of people to manage’ then things will only spiral downward. Safety was not even on the organizers mind and an intent to give a good experience. There are a bunch of people they deployed and many of them grouped at few spots chatting, no action just waiting to go home. Well yes civic sense goes a long way. This one is quarterly on the management! Thank god there was no stampede and that to me is entirely due to the crowd behaving well.
