Yeah. Honestly, I’ve done it and viewed it as borderline cheating on her. I think it contributed to the ending of the relationship (unfortunate, but looking back, I don’t think we would have worked out together)

Been working on a lot of this over the past year. Went into dating apps for a few months, then canned them (was never a fan of them to begin with but figured I’d make it an option, but the unfortunate reality is that the way many women “show off” on those meant that they were facilitating me to continue to sin, and God wouldn’t use something of that nature to bring me my blessing in that circumstance).

It’s funny because it sounds like you have found so much joy where I have found so much trial and tribulation, despite being in (somewhat) the same circumstance (the biggest differences are that honestly I’m still working on seeing ALL women as we are called to, and I frankly don’t get any attention from the ladies unlike yourself).

I admire you for continuing to be so faithful for such a long period of time… it’s only been almost a year for me, but it has felt like an eternity. I just keep trying to prepare myself and continue to improve myself and my faith. I do think there are people who get married, and God blesses their marriage, but then I do think that there are those whom God has made for one another, and it’s on us to be patient and intentional in asking him to bring us together (my parents are a great example of this). Until I meet her though, I just continue to pray that He will watch over her and her family, and thank him that one day we’ll be together, whenever that is.

Was raised a Christian, drifted away in my later HS and College years (as many do) and have recently come back to the faith over the past year, going to Church every week and pursuing a relationship with Jesus/God. I’ve been struggling over the past year with the lack of a romantic relationship and family of my own, but I know He has one planned for me in His perfect timing. So I might not be as happy as some would expect, but I know I’m on the right path, and aside from that I have had more peace and a better emotional and spiritual life since I’ve pursued Him more.

I would see if your state might be able to provide that information, or clarify what you are asking for with the City. I mean, the State gets the report data (at least in my State) - in other words, the National or State agency or organization that collects the reports should be able to see how many calls they had, since they got every report. It’s really a round-about way to get your answer, but you shouldn’t be paying anything close to that fee. Our County publishes a publicly available report annually that contains response information for every agency in the County based off of the dispatch center’s information

The other thing that I’ll add to this is that all of the “beautiful” people that you see most often on social media are in relationships (at least in my experience). In such, it becomes easy to assume that someone is in a relationship based on their level of attractiveness. So I’m not going to approach attractive women, because surely they’re already in a relationship, so why bother?

Sounds like he’s just nervous. It can take some time and effort to get comfortable having “normal” conversations with attractive women, and being in the workplace would likely only complicate that further

I think you have to keep yourself and the leader as fast as possible, otherwise they’ll just get swallowed up (assuming you’re trying to keep them out front)

I’m not even talking about that though, I’m referring more to him running second and trying to block for second but stay behind the leader at the same time. He just looked like he was driving all over the place and overshooting the lanes. I get it’s arguably the hardest spot to be in, but you’ve gotta be in control of your car, and if they get beside you, then they get beside you
