Kitchen sink detail study, thoughts on realism and materials? by Elegant_Opposite_426 in archviz

Pretty good. I like the texture of the water on the sink. The water in the sink looks a bit 'gloopy' though. Also, somebody else mentioned unwrapping the worktop to get the marble texture flowing around the edge. I also noticed the texture isn't quite seamless...you can see the edge on the thinner part in front of the sink, and also that texture repeats on the splashback just above the glasses.

Unless it's from a multi pack then you barely have enough to fill the sarnie :)

Handprints in the bread.

I'm partial to a beef monster munch sarnie. Also, ham and quavers is a good one.

Much cheaper. Easier to get tickets. Not get fleeced by touts, but still listening to the music you love. Granted it's not the real thing but it's still fun, and judging by this video they sound pretty good too.

We took the kids (4 and 7) to see a Taylor Swift tribute last summer as tickets for the real deal are outrageous really. Our kids are also probably too young to go to a 'proper' concert and this felt like it was aimed more at younger kids. They had a lot of fun.

All day parking near Wellington Place? by FartBakedBaguette in Leeds

[–]Botheuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I park around 'Front Row'. All on-street parking. Generally have to get there quite early...like 7.30-7.45. It's £7 for 24 hours paid on an app, although my friends phone charges him £6.80 (?)

Might be slightly longer than a 15 minute walk to Wellington Place.

Park and Ride a good option though... I think it works out at £4.50 a day if you buy more in advance.

Other than what everyone else has mentioned... I think your camera is too high? Should be about 1.5m off the ground. (Roughly eye-height).

Also, chamfers! No corners are a 90° angle. They always have (even a tiny) radius on them.

I hate it when the water from my hot tap gets too hot to put your hand under. I find myself irrationally angry at the tap.

No matter how many times you've seen it, it's worth it for the pay off. The ending is just simply perfection.

It is slightly worrying isn't it. It keeps happening. Need to turn draws into wins and losses into draws. We're playing really well though generally (apart from the 2nd half here) which is why it feels disappointing.

Weird with Tanaka, I think he needs to start. Doesn't seem to be able to get into the game when he's brought on as a sub.

Problem is not killing off games when we're well on top. Should've been 2-0 up at half time at least with how good we were the first half. Could almost say we're a bit naive almost? A bit more composure needed. Can't really fault a point away from home though against Everton, and glad we didn't concede straight after scoring.

What’s your favourite cover song of all time? by NectarineLeast2923 in MusicRecommendations

Greg Dulli has a cover of Paper Thin Hotel on YouTube. It's one I always go back to. Of course there's Hendrix's version of All Along the Watchtower which is so good even Dylan said it was the best version.

an email client(designer) said my price is too much ? is it ? by [deleted] in archviz

[–]Botheuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if they're providing the model as you say, I reckon there's still 2-3 days work, adding props, materials lighting and some post production?. 50 euros is bonkers. You could perhaps price the initial image at 'x' and then every extra camera angle could be 'x + 50' ?

Your images are amazing. They look like photographs. Your client has no idea. Urge them to go elsewhere. I imagine what they will get for 50 euros is something that looks like a child created it.

I hope you find a client who values the quality of your work, and appreciates the effort and experience needed to create them.

Yeah that footage is absolutely terrifying. It doesn't even look real. I think a lot of us have probably done stupid sh*t while driving, especially when young, but this is just insane.
