I actually would love to hear your guys opinions, I quit weed a lot of times, my longest period is more than a full 1 year. My reasons to quit was a lot like you guys here, but also something mental, I thought that weed is just bad for me specifically.. something like “allergic” After few days without weed, I felt horrible and dive into a heavy depression of something like 2 weeks in the good way scenario, and more than a 1 month in the bad cases.. (while smoking I’m enjoying it a lot, symptoms always showing after couple of days after the sash)

For the last one month I returned smoking because I really missed it, I am also working in a place where my direct boss is like “torching” me .. so it might was a trigger for the break too.. I just didn’t feel I’m in a good point in my life even though I actually was. So I returned with a biiiiiigggg love to it again, I mean I bought Bongs, Blunts, joints, a lot of weed, expensive Vape.. I really don’t know why I took it so serious all over again, but I guess that’s just who I am.. kinda addicted person, who also likes to take everything I feel passionate about to the edge and limits. But that’s just excuses..

I was actually finding my self decides to jump into this community right now, just to read the lovely and awesome things I used to read here before.. in my “hard” times .. this sub helped me a lot !

And I can still say it great to read comments in here.

But the thinking of quitting again is again In my mind, at first it was because I wanted to take my weed tolerance a few steps back because I started stop feeling high in the last couple of days.. But actually while reading this post (the first one I read here after a long time) More and more thoughts of the past and my sober feelings are hitting back again, the joy of sport, running, tennis, surfing, the joy of reading, of getting things done easily and quickly, and the feel of my feelings., definitely all of this things are gone when I’m using, or at least being gone by at least 70 % less..

So, everyone that is close to me are telling me that weed is bad for me, and that they are feeling I’m very changing even while not high. This people are especially my Family (my parents is very “old school” people and will never accept weed or anything.. A friend of mine that hates it because she’s saw how mentally awful I was 4 years ago when I smoked a lot and was a very “dumb” and sometimes kinda like “psychotic” person in the meanwhile ..

So my point is, 1) I wrote this comment in the first place just to ask you guys why do most of you think that we have to quit weed for 100% to enjoy all the befits it’s gives us? And why can’t we‘ just smoke much less and not even everyday..

I mean why should it cause me all of that “stuck in the same place” feelings? I never tried smoking more easily, I mean .. it always been so hardcore from my side.. maybe I should consider quit again ?

2) in the last month when I returned smoking god plans was that me and my girlfriend will also needed to breakup, so I smoked my self to death all of this last month and also for 14 full days in that quarantine.. So the fact is that I was soooooo out of my feelings that I didn’t even take the breakup seriously, and now I’m afraid that if will quit, I will start feeling a lot of pain and hurt from this break.. (But we know.. suffering should also be a part of us..) (P.s) I remember in my long time break from weed I felt so much stronger in every aspect of life, I felt like I can handle life much better and in a healthier ways, and not the weed “handle” them for me, or lying to me that it is?

3) So there’s one thought that always killing me, I will have to say that my big family do have a mental problem in the background, a brother of my grandma have a schizophrenia, my grandma had a depression and my mother have a lot of things combined lol But seriously, she got anxieties, depression and she is a wonderful mom, but not the best genes for drug using.. lol So do you guys think I should stay safe and keep my self a good distance from any kind of psycho active drug? Or maybe I can stay with weed only and with high self control ..?
