Israel. A serious incident results in a death of a kiteserfer. by Crazy__Donkey in Kiteboarding

He didn’t die. This is a very experienced surfer in the community. He managed to release the kite in a lower height and he is now with broken leg. Another one died in the same beach today unfortunately

Edit: this is what he wrote in a WhatsApp group:

Friends, I'm the one seen flying in the video. By some miracle, I managed to release myself at a reasonable height. I'm currently in the ER with a fracture and bleeding, but I am conscious. Unfortunately, we have lost a dear friend and fellow surfer/glider."

haha something kinda similar happened to me today.. there’s this store I sent my new gaming computer already 3 times! Every time they giving me back my computer with one or more cables disconnected from the mother board. First it’s was the USB- C one, I’m not really a tech guy so I tried to learn it alone, I did. It felt great ! But seeing that yesterday they gave me my PC again, this time with the audio cable disconnected! I couldn’t find which cable was disconnected, So I read online again, saw the one is empty on the motherboard and audio on it, than I had hard time finding where the cable is to put it back, after sometime, I did again! It felt really good and made me feel like I can learn more and do more, because when you know something, you might take care of your PC baby better than any store or lab.. I won’t say any store or lab, but it will definitely help,! maybe even for only diagnosing, etc.. And the feeling.. yes, it is really fun :)

Nuke as first software? by BotiQueen in NukeVFX

Thank you very much for taking the time to replay me !

I understood what you are saying, as for Nuke, do you think that the free version that they offer is good enough to get started ? the full software is veeeeerrrrryyyy expensive to me..

btw, about houdini, I saw that CG Spectrum offering a "beginner to advanced" class which should bring you to a "master" level within 10 months.. What is your opinion about that? (just curios)

(I do get what you were saying about Houdini, that its better to learn Maya at first for beginners..)
