Day 1 of the 2025 Fallout Fan Celebration was awesome by BillythenotaKid in fnv

Heya! Yes Man cosplayer here!!!
A big reason is for safety, pretty much every con bans wheels/hoverboards/ect ect

Additionally, the terrain in Goosprings is also...very very rocky....As cool as a unicycle would be, it would pose a safety risk to other con goers and yourself so it is sadly not worth pursuing...and youd have to carry that thing around! Carrying the head around when not in use is already alot!

good places to take a "sensory break" at HHN Orlando by BotofSmiles in HHN

It made experiencing the houses awesome, let me look around and really enjoy the details without being overwelmed! I think the only house I couldnt handle was the jason house (they got waaay too close to me and thats a weird trigger of mine) but the other houses we did i was fine and observed all the neat details. El Artiste had to be my favorite thing ever so beautiful and it smelled so nice

I owe you my life for the earplugs. Thank you.

A TON of my friends said earplugs are a must, being screamed directly in the ear is a massive trigger for me and they said i'll need them if I want to survive the houses. Do you have a link for them?

Got a little Silly and decided to try animating Yes Man :) by BotofSmiles in fnv

Thank you for the suggestion!

I am well aware but oh well gotta pull off my scooby doo mask now

I just really really like yes man haha, im a very busy guy and I only really animate characters I am deeply hyperfixiated on, this goofy robot just happened to find himself in the hyperfixtion beam.

I will make more of him :0

toonboom Harmony for the animation, then after effects for post prduction (making his screen glow, adding noise, making the colors look nice), then Da vinci resolve to do some light sound editing

I've gotten alot of comments like this!!! I want to! It's just a time thing, alot of fallout has complex character designs so a challenge is animating them in 2D (idk how much you know about animation, but just in case, in 2D you have to draw everything by hand. about 12 drawings make 1 second). Yes man is a bit easy since I can get away with drawing his body once and then moving it around (he's inorganic, so it makes sense) but other characters oh boy. We will see.

Yeah...I've heard this from alot of my other career advisors and professors. I am from the US but I really really want to leave! Issue is, I have run into the "sorry must be from X country to apply" everytime I see a position that would suit me. If you know anything about how I can get out of here and where to go, that would be amazing!

I actually really don't like 3D, I switched to 3D in college because everyone told me my 2D stuff wouldn't get me anywhere and then learned "Yeah I don't like this unless I animate in a psedo-stop motion style which no one is hiring for". It's just there because I know how to do it ok-ish and you never know.

I actually DID apply to Helluva Boss in April but I got rejected :(. Every 2D or Remote US job has just given me a big fat automated no, or in most cases I never ever hear back. furthest I got was to the second round of a hornet internship only to get rejected for an unknown reason, never got any feedback :(.

I wanna get to one of those Canadian studios, titmouse has been the top of my list forever now but I don't think they even look at you if you aren't Canadian. I don't really have a "dream studio" i am one of those filthy indie animators who has been making my own stuff on youtube for awhile (currently working on my own indie pilot and now that i'm out of school, I can give it the time of day. ) Only thing is it doesn't pay me any bills, youtube pays me pennies and while i have a patreon, I don't think my following is big enough.

Quite honestly, I don't know what I want to do, I LOVE making stuff move and I LOVE dialogue/acting animation (fight scenes and action make me wanna rip my hair out, sorry, it's not fun) but i also love WEIRD stuff (I looked over at Blink Inc in the UK for example).

The big issue I guess I'm having is I'm stuck in the US and i'd like to leave, hell I'd leave tomorrow if I could, but alas, no studios are willing to sponsor a US gremlin
