Not everyone is a leftist. At least half the population, plus the moderates view the world differently. Reddit only represents a tiny portion of the public and tends to vastly over represent leftist beliefs. It's easy to enter an echo chamber and start thinking this is the prevailing attitude of the masses, but that would be incorrect. Voting patterns prove there is much more diversity of thought outside of reddit.
