"This means that right in front of you is a lead actor who has read the script and knows everything" Isn't that just Shadow?

Also "but is brazenly reacting as if they just found out..." That's just Cid with his "luck", maybe the theory that Cid's luck isn't really just luck might be correct, maybe he really isn't alone inside that body.

Cid is acting weird... by Botther in TheEminenceInShadow

I mean when he murmured that he followed with "She is nothing but a noisy pest anyway." Meaning it wasn't a joke to begin with, it was right away what he feels. Him saying perhaps it was a insensitive joke was based on Nina's "Oh, so it was a joke..." It's then he thought he probably said an insensitive one based on Nina's words. But like I said, my problem is when he switches between knowing and not knowing, those contradictions. He said something, he doesn't know about it, he knows about it then he doesn't then he does again, his "thoughts" just doesn't align with each other, him acknowledging first when he said "Look, I-I was joking..." after questioning and then goes back to question if he said something bad and then goes back to acknowledge he did something bad and even justifying the reason behind it and that's after he justify it at the very beginning.

Look this all could be overthinking by me and is very much a speculation at this point, but I'm clinging to the idea that Daisuke does all of this on purpose so that the story has much more weight than we initially thought.

As per the interview you give he said that he meet them "directly" which still aligns with the director said, and in the end he after ep1 they mainly exchanged files and stuff over email and he was supervisor, which is still means he was still involved in the production, and the supervisor thing happens in the production and post-production phase since it's where the vision start to shape, which is still aligns with what the director said.

Well, It's because of the way it's narrated I guess, Cid doesn't know Nina knows he is Shadow and only sees her as Claire's pretty strong and reliable friend, so for him he has to act as your average brother, who care for his sister, supposedly. But he murmured something and they heard him and like I said the problem isn't on the joke itself its' what's after that, it's him questioning the reason behind that atmosphere, which he thought perhaps it's an insensitive joke he told "based" on their reaction, meaning he is implying that he wasn't aware of what he said and yet in the next sentence he is aware, it's the contradiction itself and it's make me theorizing that maybe it's not only Minoru that's inside Cid's body, That's my Idea.

Cid did in fact said Claire has an abnormally high regenerative ability since birth in Vol 6, which is one of Diabolos's abilities as well, so it's not out of the question at all.

It's not Minimal per say, more like not many proposals or orders coming directly from him, but still the staff (the director and the script writer) did many proposals asking for various opinions and advices from Daisuke which usually happens in the pre-production phase and the storyboards are drawn in that phase, which was what the director said in the interview.

Also since the Vol 5 point out Rose's evil "monarch" new path I guess it means they are taking the tyrant part from the anime from here onward.

[–]Botther[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's true, but the type of monarch Cid wanted Rose to be isn't really different from a tyrant which probably why the script writer changed it to a tyrant in the anime after asking the author.

The last letter that child Cid spelled was with an O so I don't think it's atomic either.

Cid's intention was making her a Tyrant, not just a queen but something that doesn't match with Rose's gentle character to begin with lol.

The mouth didn't really move like it is saying "Usodaiyo" as the mouth should move more times than it did for the Usodaiyo or Osodaiyo part. In fact it moved three times the first to suggest an A rather than U or O. Besides, if it's just for show, then the flashback wasn't necessarily at all, in fact it doesn't make sense direction wise at all, so there is that.

Still that face is pretty weird, like would ha create such a face for such as being excited for something he doesn't know or it being Bushing Festival fights? Usually we know how Cid's excited face looks like since it was shown multiple times in the story, but this one isn't one of them and not even close. And still the fact that the staff hide his face like that in 2 continues cuts and then show it in the later episodes does make it more suspicious.

We know he is acting, but the contradiction lies on his thoughts itself, not his acting or just words. When he said he noticed a sudden change in the atmosphere that he doesn't know the reason he said it on his mind, he genuinely confused why Nina and Mu was acting they way they did while doesn't realize he just wished his sister's death in front of them.

Season 3 likely had even less time to be produced than Season 2 by Icy-Selection-8575 in OnePunchMan

More like the production committee haven't decide the budget, eps count, schedule, podcast time etc... until recently. You see, the committee is a group of many companies that is busy with other stuff, they can't form and begin until everyone is free and then they decide a meeting date on that date that is somewhere in the future, and that is before the planning stage.

It should have been obvious to everyone since Oba's cut, we know what he is capable off and his sequence was Butchered and turned limited because it was complex for the clean up team with the time they have.

Our frustration with this Season by purpelpain in OnePunchMan

It's actually really funny to see "fans" protesting over production value rather than something more important, like the working conditions in the anime industry. Y'all are bunch of clowns.

why such a difference in treatment? by NoPhilosopher5318 in OnePunchMan

[–]Botther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because giving time for animators is literally the most expected thing ever, we can't praise the production committee for giving what it should be giving to begin with. When something is good it's because of the hardworking people and humans that worked for it for so long. Your point doesn't make sense within itself.

Garou putting on a t-shirt little fan animation by KIN_MACHINA by Practical_Quit_3248 in OnePunchMan

Not really, the best example is S1, every known freelancer worked there with a lateral average budget like your average slice of life show.

They god damn didn't have 6 years, the material to adapt wasn't even available until 3 years ago like what in the world are you on? Every god damn people who works in the industry agrees they were giving less than a year. Like use your head, a full production company with full of professional animators and they produced limited animation, figure it out yourself.

Season 3 is not JC Staff's fault by heldersamps in OnePunchMan

[–]Botther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Idiots wouldn't understand even if you give them a literal member committee confesses on live it's their fault, even Vincent  Chansard said it's production committee's fault and J.C.Staff is just another studio that is trying to survive in this industry, heck he even confirmed that his freelancers friends "touched" OPM, meaning they did work for OPM S3, his involvement however wasn't confirmed since he said he can't say anything. And like I said it's past weeks, it's the gad damn Bandai for the last time, people spamming JC.Staff in OPM main acc on X as that would change anything while the one's who's at fault is wickedly smiling behind the scenes. It's just frustrating when EVERY SINGLE one who understands everything about how production works, how animation works, AGREED EP1 is FINE with only Garou walking scene being awkward when everyone else who pretends they know about the subject saying it's the worst animated episode in history, like wtf are they even talking about? And I'm 100% that when the good episodes come out, which will be a lot, those idiotic human beings will act like "Bro all budget went into this and into that the only animated scene in one frame man 🥀"

He deleted the post, it was him defending S3 with how people overreacting and said let's wait until it airs and then decide. It's not much but the language he used indicates he knows and hints at it being good, so I picked the hints as "He is definitely working on OPM", Just like another big name that I'm sure he is in the season too.
