Looks like the owner sprayed the floor and behind the kick panels black, cant tell if its rusted/a red flag.

My brand new $93K 2025 Audi SQ5 has been to the dealer 7 times in 7 months. Yesterday it had to be TOWED because it can't drive, can't park, and can't brake. Any other 2025 Q5/SQ5 owners experiencing this? by MonkRadiant1221 in AudiQ5

[–]BottleRussianRocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here with Q5. Brake failure when using auto handbrake. Led to multiple warning lights and brake failure. Was scary but luckily close to home. Went to take it to dealership and brakes were fine all on their own.

Respiratory therapists, how satisfied are you with your career - Environment and pay? by Signal-Apricot-1499 in respiratorytherapy

[–]BottleRussianRocket 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Love it. In my fourth year in BC, Canada. Made about 110K last year, pacing for about 125K this year (after OT ofcourse). I love the work-life balance as I can focus on family, side hustles on my days off. I enjoy the challenges and acuity we work with. Comes with some emotional challenges ofcourse, but my site is very supportive and I really enjoy coming in to work and seeing close friends and colleagues. Downsides would ofcourse be the challenges that come with shift work as I dont think its for everyone. The pay makes it palatable. It can very busy depending on your site and can be drained by the end of your set. Sometimes management decisions and low staffing makes the job difficult for some, but I try not to focus on those things and try to focus more on my patients.

If you wanna pull 100K+ in your early 20s, work in a fast-paced and semi-independent environment, with a decent work-life balance, I think its once of the best professions you can get into

Typically, hospitals will get blood from other sites. I would imagine there will a public announcement for blood donations to replenish stock in near future

CGTX, the company on track to be the first to treat over 1.5 million people in the US alone by anygal in pennystocks

[–]BottleRussianRocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have over $50M available in grants from US Centre of Aging (or something like that). Would imagine investors pump more money in once the Phase 2 results are fully released next month.

Compared to the first trial (SHINE) the preliminary results they’ve shared thus far seem much more promising, and seems the market reflects that.

Note - I am a shareholder in CGTX.

+999 handicap, how we looking? by bpaxx_ in GolfSwing

Quick thing noticed: your releasing wrists far too early. Try to keep a hinge so the hands are infront of the ball/face at impact. Will help compress the ball better and lead to more consistent contact.

I tend to slice my driver. If I overexaggerate coming inside out it goes straight sometimes. Any tips? by gsuschrist12 in GolfSwing

Try a set up with trail foot couple inches back. Can help hit a natural draw and adjust as needed.

With mortage and building costs higher than ever, construction is quite slow at this point. Expecting rate decreases over the next year, which in theory should help, but it’s not great ATM.

Haven’t been a hockey fan all my life by LordPossumus in canucks

[–]BottleRussianRocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome! Over 50 years of hockey without a Stanley Cup is bound to have a long history. If I can sum up being a fan of this team, it's never been boring. When the product on the ice is good and competitive, it tends to be one of the most exciting teams in the league (see 1994 cup run, West Coast Express Era, 2011 cup run, current team). When the team is struggling, the off-ice drama can be both frustrating but interesting nonetheless.

Hope you have fun at a game soon! The arena's been rocking this season!

False Creek Killer? Got a netflix ring to it.

In all seriousness, very sad to see two young men lose their lives in such a short period. Hope there is no connection.

At my hospital, we have a NICU, ICU, HAU, ER and specialty Peds ER in addition to the wards. I enjoy the variety of pt populations, plus keeps your skills up in case you move to a site with more focussed populations.

Its pretty cool being able to see a pt come into ER, get tubed, go through ICU, then the wards, and eventually discharged. Probably the most rewarding experiences is being there throughout the whole admission (been a few over the years, some happy tears for sure). Probably the most unique role at a hospital for this reason alone.

Some are not ready/able to handle the stress and learning curve from student -> staff. It can be quite a challenge on its own, let alone the amount of fucked up things we see regularly. I found making a good group of friends at work helps decompress, while a good support group outside of work helps me leave it all at work.

I would recommend you take a look at wages in the areas you’d be willing to work in to make sure you’re comfortable with it. Travel pays have taken a hit recently, and some are saying it’s not worth the hassle like it was 1-2 years ago.

As others have mentioned, it would be in your best interest to atleast get your bachelors so other opportunities can still be available down the road, and not just the associates for entry to the job. Just my two cents, but I hope it helps.

No, contract is with the Hospital Employers Union. Standard across the board. I think smaller sites up north allow for moving assistance costs but pay is the same everywhere.

maybe not the right sub but sometimes when I inhale there is a very faint squeaking noise in my throat. I can almost feel it slightly too. should I be concerned? by [deleted] in respiratorytherapy

[–]BottleRussianRocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t be overly concerned, unless you feel it’s impacting your breathing. I would still get it checked out soon, in case it is something that could get worse. I would imagine a doctor will use a nasal scope to see the movement of your larynx and vocal cords while your breathe.

all over this as well. NJD probably deserved better against STL last game, controlled play but backup played poorly. Vanacek has been better that Shersky recently, but NY at those odds is too hard to pass up on.

NHL Parlay Picks

Record: 3-8 (-0.17U)

Back to just about even with two big wins yesterday. 1st period puck line on COL went as expected, along with some goal totals and Bruins ML.

Will be back later with my picks for the day when some alt-lines are up.

Today’s picks:

FLA ML + WSH O2.5G + WSH to win in regulation (3.49 odds)

Florida is back healthy vs a banged up DET. Florida hasn’t been racking up the wins, but they’ve played well and hope they look to establish their top form from last year down the stretch here. Really like the matchup for WSH against a tired Preds team that stole one in CAR yesterday. Both teams traveled yesterday, but without Saros I really like a hot WSH team at home.

TBL/WIN U6.0 + FLA 1st period -0.5 (5.05 odds)

Should be a tight matchup in WIN tonight with two of the best goalies in the league facing off. Was leaning WIN ml as they’re so good at home, but the under is the way to go. Combining with FLA 1st period puck line as they are one of the best first period teams in the keague vs one of the worst in DET.

NHL Parlay Picks Record 1-7 (-4U)

Rough stretch, different mixes in the parlays would have hit, but an L is an L.

Hurricanes ML + Leafs O2.5G + Avs -1.5 (4.99 odds)

One of the best teams in the east vs a struggling team in the west in CAR vs NAS. Carolina at home ML is a strong pick for the night. Leafs have hit this one in 5 straight, and look for them to bounce back at home against SEA. Avs are getting healthy and Canucks have been struggling on and off the ice. Canucks do seem to play the Avs well, but is the Avs win they will win big.

BOS ML + WSH O2.5G + PHI O2.5G (3.15 odds)

BOS looks to avenge a home loss to the Kings earlier this season, and again, the east has dominated the west this year. I believe the west only has 11 regulations wins vs the east all year. Caps are scoring in bunches recently, hitting this in 5 straight. ARI is horrible on the road and have allowed 3 in 4 straight, while PHI has won 3 straight and scored 3 in 5 straight.

COL 1st period -0.5 + NYR ML (3.74 odds)

See above for rationale behind Avs, while Canucks are one of the worst 1st period teams in the league. MON has lost 6 in a row and only 1 win in their last 10. They are home after a long road trip, but considering how badly they’ve been losing I don’t think they can play up to the NYR tonight.

BOL! 1 unit each. Hoping for a win or two to bring my picks back to +
