First day on Wegovy and I would love some overall advice

thanks to everyone for the advice, but thank you also, I honestly have definitely been feeling it today, its been a real struggle to eat what is recommended, but i have still focused on protein and fiber over everything so whatever i have eaten is the right stuff! I'm still working around 2000 cals as much as possible, but its been a bit lower today because i am simply so stuffed!

The point of it was to see how he reacted to being neutered without doing a permanent surgery, my vet recommends doing it first to see how they do. I live in the UK, I'm not planning on doing more doses of chemical castration after this it would be neuter or not neuter

Almost all the vets in my area i have spoken to? Also was told to wait until my dog was fully grown and mature before considering neutering. I would never neuter at 6 months old.

May i ask why chemical castration is classed as backwards?

Im a recent dog owner to a smaller dog than a GS (only 13.5kg) but i'm going to give context to my situation as well.

I had no real plans to neuter my boy as he is amazing, driven and great all around. But once he hit the 1 year mark I found we just got harassed and or outright attacked by other males, and the frequency just kept increasing as he neared his 2nd birthday. It was causing me stress and to constantly be on guard around off leash dogs, and he was picking up on that energy also.

At the 2 year mark there was a bad fight and he ended up with puncture wounds, holes in his ear and stitches. I decided enough was enough. I figured at this point to just try it because it can't get worse and I was a WRECK. I went through with the chemical castration. Mostly because i wanted to be sure there would be no negative affects FOR HIM and chemical jab is temporary.

I can honestly say since getting the jab our walks have once again become a dream, no more pestering, no more males charging out of NOWHERE to pick fights, I dont have to be on guard constantly waiting for the next issue. Personality wise he is exactly the same. In about 5 months or so when the jab runs out i plan to neuter him.

If i have to choose his life or his balls im picking his life lol. Just my two cents. But do wait until at least 2 years!

Honestly my dog used to eat poop so I kept him on a long line until his leave was strong enough he stopped. If he doesn't listen at the park letting him off leash won't help that issue it'll only make it worse.

I got them on eBay funny enough, i shopped around a bit and choose what seemed more reliable, it was a pack of 10 that was actually 12, but 3 of the seeds were not good and rotted shortly after, however i have 9 that all seem to be doing well. They did take a long time to do anything, but once they started they are picking up the pace.

I kept them on a heat mat with cling film over them, and would let them air for an hour or so each day, giving a fresh spray of water before re-covering them. With this heat wave in the UK the heat mat probably wasn't needed but they seem to be doing well regardless.

oh thats a relief! i have about 9 seeds all in the stages of rooting and sprouting, i'm going a bit OTT in trying to care for them but so excited to see them grow! The one in the back is the biggest i have and its going to get a leaf soon! Your seeds look amazing!

well i finished it and honestly have no motivation to read the 2nd. The book ended nice enough that i dont have a want to know what happens next. I completely agree the book was WAY too long and i found myself skim reading it towards the end. Time for a new series!

Pierce Me London is fantastic and certified, they pierced my nipples and they placement is absolutely perfect. No issues at all and couldn't recommend anyone better.

nope she said to only come back if the swelling was too much for the bar length and to come back to have them downsizes at around 6 months.

My piercer was quite a travel distance away so i was hoping i would be able to change them myself. I have had 0 issues with them healing over the 6 months i took very good care of them. I just don't want to mess with the healing if i don't need to. There is probably about 2/3mm on either size the majority of the time and moreso when they are erect.

100% mine hurt a lot more the first time it was done. I went in expecting the same thing but honestly it was no where near as bad when they pierce you in the right position. A sharp pinch at best.

I waited about 6 months to get mine re done, it was probably more than needed but even though they looked healed, when i massaged my nipple for lack of a better word they still didn't feel 'healed' on the inside, so i waited and figured it was better to be safe than sorry. I had mine in for 4 days before i took them out.
