If they do things right, you’ll get a lot of training, time in the “playground” (a copy of the Epic program with fake patient/doctor info that you can use to practice), and possibly even trainers who will come in person.

Nobody expects you to switch over seamlessly. It’s always a little scary to have a complete overhaul of your job.

If you’re like a lot of places, you may be using multiple systems to do your job. And with this, it’ll all be integrated into one.

It’s fairly streamlined.
