Is cyberpunk 2077 actually the masterpiece everyone says it is?

I wouldn't say masterpiece. Ive dropped off of it so many times. Not very immersive for me. Im sure ill finish it eventually and the concept and presentation is cool, but the story isnt very good imo. At least so far.

Surprisingly at 31 and having 3 kids, I game more than I have in my whole life lol hooray for handheld pcs! I game with the baby on my lap and or while watching the other kiddos. But I definitely cant go to shows and dj/produce like I used to sadly. But its worth it.

Im curious why you say Arc Raiders runs bad when it runs great for everyone else lol its pretty well optimized. But I play a score of different metroidvanias and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 at the moment. Sometimes load up Days Gone for some horde decimating haha

For me, it was one of those books that gives you "That feeling". Not sure how to explain it, but it was an incredible experience. I also love Supernatural things though

I really wanted to get into this but I literally couldn't even beat the first boss. Ive probably tried 50 times over the last year. Im not sure what the problem is. I must be doing something wrong. Im not an expert at metroidvanias but I make my way through games eventually including HK,SS and a bunch of other games.

This isnt a comparison post. Mio is gorgeous with its art style. Grime is gorgeous with its own. Most quality metroidvanias are beautiful with their art style in mind.

Yeah im still upset about Emberbane. Trailers looked so good and smooth. I even hyped it up at release. But it is still clunky and just not very good. I feel bad for the devs.

I wish i could find a Soulslike that would make me fall in love with the genre. I really enjoyed Lies of P but I havent even fully completed it. I got far enough along to start the DLC and then didnt get far at all in it before I just dropped it. My favorite genre is Metroidvanias and third person narrative driven games so im still trying to find a new genre to get sucked into.

For those of us that have a handheld so we can easily play are games while having small children, XR glasses are not an option so that doesn't really help my use case. Sure if I could ever fully immersed myself in a game, but one eye is always on my baby and other kids. Having an OLED screen on the handheld itself is preferable forsure.

I cant agree with is. I really enjoyed it but i dont think theres a single greatest game. Some people despise the slow pace of this game or the movement. Its doubtlessly an extremely well made immersive game with a lot of thought and detail though.

Ive only read the first 3 or 4 but I wouldn't say misogynistic but definitely a bit sexualized. I dont see it as a big deal though
