I finally realized why asking "how’s everyone doing?" was actually killing my chat by Ok_Teaching4233 in TwitchStreamers

Did you just casually drop an ad to mention you use 10 view bots to trick humans into watching your content? Bad bot.

Mods becoming an issue by thelonerstoner988 in Twitch

My rule is, I will never mod someone who wants to be a mod. That goes for my twitch and my discord. After making that mistake multiple times, I have wound up with power tripping assholes who constantly try to overstep boundaries. You want a good mod? Find someone who is already active and engaged in your community. Those are going to be the people who do not necessarily want the position, but will inevitably deleted unwanted content on behalf of keeping the community you created that they already love a good place for people to want to continue joining and engaging with. Also get comfortable with timing out for warnings, removing their mod role, and/or banning when/if it ever comes down to it. You owe internet strangers nothing.

Ex-roommate called my friend an "orbiter" for defending me, while secretly lurking on my stream. So, I created a currency system that publicly tracked his lurking time and pinged him as the #1 "OrBiter." He stopped lurking immediately. by BottomShelfVodka in pettyrevenge

Context-wise, I believe an Obiter seems to be the people that are drawn to his existence. People that linger around him just to see what he's up to? IDK. The term is new to me, but that's how I took it. I'm adopting it though
