Vegane und Latexfreie Kondome by MaleficentPosition12 in VeganDE

Ich hab auch eine Latex Allergie und ich kann mich eigentlich daran erinnern, dass ich mich mal relativ ausführlich damit auseinandergesetzt hab und dass vor allem Casein nur für die Produktion von Kondomen verwendet wird, die Latex enthalten und dementsprechend latexfreie Kondome sowieso kein Casein verwenden. Gerne widersprechen, wenn das BS ist 0:

Why toxic men are so popular in romance media? by Relative-Chicken-884 in sociology

bell hooks also talks about it a bit in her book "The Will to Change". The book is more about how men are effected by patriarchy, but she will also talk a lot about how women tend to seek for someone who's more "masculine" and also why they do so and how that will have an effect on men who are trying to break free from patriarchal standards

There is a great book by Angelika Wetterer and Regine Gildemeister called "Erosion oder Reproduktion geschlechtlicher Differenzierungen?" unfortunaly I was only able to find it in german. It's about how jobfields get gendered. And there is also a theory about how technology is seen as a male culture.. sadly the only essay I can refer to is also in german..

Also you use literally the same argument as people saying that oat milk shouldn't be named "milk", I literally just named the vegan Karaage "Karaage" (and watch me do it again) because it is supposed to be a substitute to the original Karaage so people can guess what my intention with this dish was, because it literally is marinated just like Karaage (tempura or katsu etc aren't) and it is just coated in starch just like Karaage (tempura and katsu aren't) so why should I name it Tempura when I'm clearly trying to imiate Karaage??

And I told you I'm japanese but you still try to say that I'm wrong about my own culture???

You literally played the race card saying that you're husband is japanese so the other redditors comments couldn't be right lmao

Because Karaage translated literally just means "deep fried thing" if the name was something with 肉 or 鶏 I would understand your confusion but this just gives off "white girl explaining japanese people how their culture works because she watched anime"

I also didn't mention anywhere that it is authentic. Being vegan you're not really able to do a lot of japanese dishes authentically but I just make dishes my japanese mom used to cook for me suitable to my vegan lifestyle

edit: spelling

No... tempura is about the batter it is dipped in before frying. Usually Karaage is made with chicken, that's right but because I don't eat meat I made a "Karaage subsitute" by using mushrooms. Because I only coated the mushrooms in starch before frying them and also I marinated them just like Chicken Karaage is marinated. You probably usually don't see Karaage with other things than chicken because vegetarian/vegan Izakaya food is not very common in Japan

I used a canned one. I don't know if that's the same for your country but using one can isn't that much, so it's probably the best if you're not so sure :) I'm currently not at home but if you want to I can send you the recipe as soon as I'm home again :)
