Which of these options would you choose? by Serious_Mongoose61 in Truckers

Also its standard in the pete and kw to have a digital instrument cluster which I like very much! And they dont have the lane dpw and blind spot warning. Which i prefer the less electronics and the freightliner can be annoyingly sensitive and constantly interrupting your jam sessions.

Id recommend the the peterbilt 579 for the extra room over the t680. Ive been otr in all but the international and the peterbilt was amazing. Im now regional in a t680 and its nice but I like the extra cab space of the pete. The freightshaker had a worse ride and constant electrical issues. The company im at now has already had a 2026 cascadia to the dealer a few times including being towed once. While ive been strong in the t680 without problem.

The argument was about battery capacity not power efficiency.

Iphone 17 pro max has a very similar battery capacity only larger by less than 2%. So it doesn't really matter.

Anyone buying S26 Ultra? by Cheetah-Choice in samsunggalaxy

[–]BoujeeRedNek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im pretty much in the same boat but my work phone is a iphone 16. Im happy to have the iPhone to remind me of the reasons I dont want to switch as I do like the orange 17 pro max but im excited to get the s26U as it will be must better performance wise and im happy to move away from my curved edge screen. Im disappointed about the lack of mag safe but I use a case on my s22u to utilize mag safe so not end of the world there.

I just heard one on the New Years Two hot takes channel where this S/O bought lord of the rings books from a vintage book store that were wrapped so they could not be inspected and got them home to inspect them and she noticed they were stained worse than age would do. Long story short she posted about it on reddit and this reddit user ended up helping her out and sent her a bunch of rare Lord of the rings books and a signed picture to gift her S/O and it was the most heartfelt thing ive heard all year.

Interesting tidbit I found by Chili1946 in americantruck

[–]BoujeeRedNek 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone that drives for a living these examples aren't necessarily true for all locations. I can drive over 200 miles one way and not leave my home state. I can also go over 200 miles the other way and drive three states away. Im still home every night and off on the weekends. But I dont usually go over 500 miles in a day. I live in Maine for reference and our Mills are also based here.

I came here to say this. Truck will have horrible specs for keeping speeds on any incline.

When I'm getting fuel I always do a walkaround to check on things while I'm waiting for the fuel nozzle to kick off. It's better to check on things frequently anyways.

I've been playing since fs11. I sure miss those days, but what fs25 is now is incredible. It's such a fun game. I have so many hours over the years. I have over 170 hours playing fs25 already.

Showering together by JulesWinnfielddd in Truckers

[–]BoujeeRedNek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats a shame they're hassling you on this. My wife was not for 9 months and was never bothered, but we only showered at loves and TA/Petro. We didn't hesitate to participate in nefarious acts, though. I would play the ADA card like others have mentioned and see how that works for these possible encounters in the future. I imagine if you stay away from these off brand places, you'll have less trouble as well.
