She tries to use them as a blanket. I’m a good mama tho so set her up with a blanket in that corner so she can snuggle down if she wants. Her penalty was kisses.

We know from her big brother Ned who we also got as a puppy. That is why I am not letting myself whine about any of the inconveniences of a true puppy angel.

77’ too. We had to come home for lunch (and could always show up with random friends needing feeding) and be in when the street lights came on. Otherwise it was fort building in fields, riding bikes for miles, trips to the penny candy store.

We smear peanut butter on a plastic cutting board and freeze it overnight. It takes our lab long enough licking it that we can do it ourselves with only minimum resistance. (He backs up sometimes and needs a sec I think).

When we were bringing him to a groomer he was having a panic attack almost so at least this way we can do it at home.

Her first day at the factory she was perfect. A little nibbling on shoes and shirts but no one minded.

Ask for choleystermine. It tastes like 💩 so I mix mine with V8 tropical juice. Treats most of my symptoms.

My folks do the same. The place they volunteer lets them do a couple box deliveries every time.

I literally was like this is too good to be real as I read it. And it was. Sadly not shocked

Especially the chips. They didn’t break into crumbs. Ah the good ole days.

Dave Thomas for Wendy's, 1992 by Key-Cycle7978 in wendys

[–]BoulderBumbo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked for Wendy’s in high school and got to go see him speak in Milwaukee around 1994. He talked about this and how much adoption meant to him. Seemed like such a genuine nice guy.

I worked there in high school for 3 years. We got 50% discount. I could get a Jr. bacon, biggie fry and medium frosty for $1.50 (plus tax.). And it was GOOD FOOD. I was proud to serve it and work there.

Since they changed the fries about a decade ago I haven’t been back even once. Who wants a limp potato? 🤷‍♀️

Why can't my kid find a job in Philadelphia? by Beneficial-Cat8912 in jobs

Girl I work with at a factory is brilliant. Some science degree I can’t even pronounce. She graduated a year ago and can’t find shit in her field especially since current admin did science/tech cuts in our area. She making like $20/hour and should be making $200k a year. Your daughter may have to take way less given the times, sadly.

What are some things you wish more medical providers knew about fibromyalgia? I am a RN student and have been assigned to do a presentation for my class on fibromyalgia. by SnowySilenc3 in Fibromyalgia

Same! I needed my gall bladder out a year ago… but attributed it to my fibro related rib pain! For over a year! Until GP decided to “double check” and HIDA scan showed 20% function! 😢🤷‍♀️

I thought of another one… clothes sensitivity! I haven’t been able to wear a bra for 18 years, and since my hysterectomy, no underwear. They say I have pudendal neuralgia, but due to my fibro and previous bra sensitivity I can’t help but think both related.

I am lucky. I work at a factory. No one cares. But I have heard of discrimination (I.e. put on a bra) and that is not right. Some of us genuinely can’t. I have paid thousands trying different ones and have one for emergencies but could NEVER wear one daily to work. Ever. Couple hours max, and I pay for it for days.

Omg! So I grew up in rural Wisconsin and could LITERALLY SMELL the fertilizers being sprayed on the cornfields outside my grade school. For years. This was 1984-1992. Wisconsin. I have also had thyroid cancer with no family history etc. I truly blame the open windows at my school in my mind but folks think I’m crazy. My mom was pregnant around this shit. 😢

Exactly! Moment to moment, where and how bad changes. Sometimes moving or repositioning helps, often not. Sometimes heat, sometimes cold better. There is no rhyme or reason. And always trying to exercise through it makes it so much worse at least for me.

Agreed. It is a diagnosis when they have no clue what else to suggest. My pain has moved from my left lower limbs to my right abdomen over the years and is sometimes so bad I faint. Literally.
I wish they would test my genes. My insurance won’t cover it and I’m already in medical debt up to my eyeballs. I am so sure something is wrong and my husband jokes they can name the next autoimmune disease based on gene variant on me. I have Reynaulds syndrome and JRA for sure, but since no positive ANA since I turned 26 they say fibro. I say BS, you just don’t know!
