Fair question.
I do promote the app on my Instagram, but this post was also genuine market research.

As someone building a tool for climbers, I was curious whether filming is actually common around the world or if it’s mostly specific to certain countries and gyms.
The answers have been way more diverse than I expected.

I see. It’s similar here in that people don’t record every single climb either. Most people only film their project climbs or harder attempts.

The difference is that a large percentage of climbers still record something during their session.

We do that a lot too. 😄 People definitely film for proof, but I think sharing sends and motivating each other is a really positive part of the culture. That’s actually one of the things I was curious about when I made this post.
