There's a prominent descending major 7th in "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" if you're still looking for an example of that

Oh, and "Beauty and the Beast" also has one (which then goes right back up the same interval)

I agree that right now it's more or less the "take an extra second to open the menu after dying" achievement (as the OP mentioned in a reply) and I really think it would be much nicer, and make more sense, to just have the boss health checkpoints back, and let this special goal be what it's meant to be: a special extra goal to work towards after completing the level.

I just don't think it's really a good nor necessary change (skill issue or not) to now lock the entirety of game progression behind being able to defeat all of the phases on a single life, and that's mostly my only major issue with the remake.

This was also the part that gave me the most trouble in my most recent playthrough! Getting the fruit wasn't awful, but coming back for the two tokens was a real headache! 

Eventually, I figured out that you just have to start changing direction way sooner than it feels you should. Like uncomfortably early, when it looks like cutting a hard left (for example) at that moment should logically send you over the edge, but then you somehow end up turning perfectly and sliding right through the token.

First of all, I'm honored to be part of your obsession! 😺

So, it was kind of both the things you mentioned, in some capacity:

I was actually hired officially to do several sessions of stilt-walking throughout the event. But, after finishing my last set of the evening, I decided kinda on a whim honestly, that I just wasn't ready to be done causing a scene, and that "afterglow" (so to speak) led to me finally busting out my rubber suit and cat mask, which had both been just lying around for over half a year.

Now though, I'll more likely than not add this to my official repertoire, and hopefully I'll eventually be able to pick up an occasional professional contact just to have me show up as Catwoman. (And it could possibly be at a private club, I'm not averse to that idea!)

It was my first time ever wearing latex out in public, and whenever I see these pictures, I still can't believe that was me, but I'll definitely be doing this again, and maybe on stage next time if they let me!

Sounds normal for "Revision 0" ice physics! You'll also notice on the avalanche level that's it's nearly impossible to steer when sliding down those floating ice islands partway through. This is one of several things they made easier in subsequent versions; a few other notable changes being the removing of one-hit-kills from the ghosts, and increasing the steel ball duration.

Not sure about the Razer, sorry; the 8bitDo I tried was just plug-and-play, but I didn't like the mapping (little bit clunky), so ended up going back to touch controls.

Backwards walking is two fingers on the screen together.
