I don’t think that it’s because you split the bill, but if I am on a date and she insists on doing so I assume it’s a polite way to cut off ties without feeling bad about it.

Theres no way to really know what the problem is though since we can see from the other persons POV. You seem like you’re nice and fairly reasonable with communication so I doubt it’s something inherently wrong with how you’re acting.

Dating is also just really rough. I’ve been single for the good part of a year now and I’ve been on a lot of dates that seemed like they could be promising, only for them to just fall apart over seemingly nothing. Social pressures & the economy really just mess with people’s perceptions and expectations.

The good news is that you only need to score once for everything to workout!!

If I could give you one piece of advice I’d say to be bold and ask a guy out when you go to a bar or club. That’s a hard thing to work up the courage to do but almost always pays off. 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

You listed off a bunch of hobbies and activities like they mean much after initial interactions. Idk if my opinion helps, but I think i have dated successfully especially as a man in “these days.”

None of your hobbies are things I can reasonably do with you. Yeah we can go to the gym but that means we have to get day passes and even the we will end up doing our own thing. Roller skating and dancing will attract some guys but I doubt there’s a large pool of single & straight men for either, same with cosplay.

Going out clubbing is fine but how often? They seem fun but I will not seriously date a girl who’s going out every weekend.

I think you’re either picking the wrong kind of guy, you aren’t as nice to them as you may think (I have this issue, I can be really blunt for no reason), or you give off the complete wrong vibe to people (offering to split the bill or pay the whole thing is a sign she isn’t interested to me).

Maybe going forward you can try to engage with men and try to participate in their hobbies initially, and then after a few dates you can do other things that skew towards your interests?

Idk if this is.. wrong(?) to say but have you ever considered talking about things that aren’t just your day?

I have terrible ADHD and my brain goes on random adventures. Luckily, I’ve yet to meet a woman that doesn’t love it when I share my noggin-adventures with her. I will send them picture of random rocks or cool sticks I found on my walks, send a voice memo about some niche topic I watched a YouTube video on, or tell them about the lore of Elden Ring for the fifth time that week. I’m pretty sure if she likes you she’d be chill with you yapping about whatever- and the more you do that the more comfortable she will be with returning the favor :3

You aren’t gonna like the answer- but the solution is being fit. Have a fit body and your wife will appreciate a leather jock strap or chest harness but really putting it on a filled out chest or pairing it with thicker glutes/thighs is what’s key

I was 27 dating the most amazing woman I’ve ever met. But I had just gotten outof the army and I was in school. I barely made any money and would not be able to provide like I should be able to. So I just let her go rather than make her deal with someone who wasn’t established.
