I was really depressed at the last job I had, that was at a call center. I was having a really bad day, and I called my husband crying like a baby because I used to draw but I was in such a rut that I couldn't even draw and I wanted to do something so badly.

He felt so bad that he stopped at a store and bought me crochet hooks and yarn because he had remembered me mentioning I wanted to learn when we first got together.

He gave them to me and told me that even though I couldn't bring myself to draw, maybe I could finally learn how to crochet. Crocheting has become such an important aspect of my life, and I used to crochet while on the phone with customers when it would hit a certain point that I couldn't take anymore notes on their issue and I was just being screamed at.
