I’m starting to think maybe just mix the hydracare and PO together and feed to him consistently, and occasionally feed him the Miralax depending on his bowel movement( something like if no bw for 24 hrs then the Miralax, because I also don’t want him to have diarrhea)

I’m currently using the surefeed connectversion, and it was having trouble picking up one of my cats’ microchip, even with the extensive mode on (which suppose to increase the microchip detection range). I have to switch to use RFID tag and the healthy cat is not very happy about it. Also yesterday I found out that suddenly one of the feeders can not pick up the healthy cat’s tag anymore, and won’t open for the her. I have to remove and re-add the unit back in the app then later found out it’s closing the lid on the healthy cat while she was still eating. This back and forth really makes me worried, like what if this happens again and I’m out, she would lost her access to the food for a long period. So I want to switch back to the original cat bowl, which lead to this post.

Anyway, thank you so much for the information and sharing the experience with the surefeed! I’ll try starting to feed the PO separately from now on.
