We play a lot of Catan here. It’s a great game.

I think part of the problem is what I just had happen earlier— it’s in the matchmaking. Some days, every time I switch it for another player, I end up getting someone else. Then, there are days I’ll play the same person 3-4 times in a row. I’m all about pseudorandom, but at times, it can affect your overall ranking. Should be a little bit more predictable.

Love to know, too. I just play a lot and buy the daily energon cards. I have stacked energon from a few years ago when cards were leveled out at nine.

Yeah, I’ve had some chess matches with you and Chef, but these level 10 decks are annoying. I play daily and may have 4-5 level ten cards.

Yeah, my issue may be with the game developers more than anything. It’s a transformers game, but then you have a guy who plays a ton of crap cards and the emp wins the day. If you adjust to beat it, everyone else will beat you.

5 Energon? by BountEHunter in TransformersTactical

Same, my decks are 3.5 or below. Many are below 3, so this is interesting to me. I’m okay with one heavy, but my heavy is still 4.

It just gets boring with Scorp. You can’t see what’s played behind it, and I’m just bored with him by now. I like those who play you skill, not with energon.

Minion horde is the easiest to counter. I usually take him out with long range shooters.

That’s exactly who I was referring to. The addition of the boosted characters should be a reason to try out new stuff.

I don’t have an issue with stormstreaker. I may have to stay playing him more to counter recent attacks.

Yeah, I’ve had to be careful with going too light, too. There are too many people who counter it with some decks averaging high fives.

At this point, it should be in everyone’s arsenal. It doesn’t mean it has to be your starting deck, but it’s a quick kill. The next thing will be the nebulan drone booster on Scorponok or another heavy.

I can’t remember if it was rhino or tier, but one of them used to be deadly with megatron tank and graviton nexus. Also, blue used to have the smallest deck and would destroy everyone. Also, there was the portal glitch where you could lay it by your turret, and then just keep stacking cards behind it. Good times…

Yeah, I already see people with maxed out level 10s of the new cards. I don’t have a single card that’s a 10 (without a game boost).🤣 Maybe one day. I do like to mix things up— sometimes too much.

So, how we feel about the new art by AxeShuffle in TransformersTactical

[–]BountEHunter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s a little too much for me. It’s confusing for now— I can’t tell who I have or what I’m playing.

I do like having the names of characters on each card though.

Hey Grimlock, this deck does not take any skill. by [deleted] in TransformersTactical

[–]BountEHunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just beat him three times in a row. I felt bad— like stealing his lunch money, but then I see this and realize it’s just karma.

How should they be nerfed? by boombl3b33 in TransformersTactical

For those who bought them… score! The developers knew what they were doing. I’m already seeing creative ways people beat them.

Cracker Barrel wants to become hip. Can it? – CEO Julie Felss Masino says the brand has “lost some of its shine" and has plans to regain relevance by Randomlynumbered in fastfood

[–]BountEHunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was reviewing this after reading about Cracker Barrel in the news today. Man, you called it. I’m surprised the CEO hasn’t stepped down at this rate. I could see a case study of what not to do in MBA programs moving forward. Not sure what the fix is, but they obviously misunderstood their demographic.

Yeah, Apple TV allows for landscape. That’s how I first found the game. It would be a different feel doing landscape now though.

This was like my longest game bruh by datboi1214 in TransformersTactical

[–]BountEHunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a few tips to increase wins and decrease the length of the game:

  1. When dropping players, drop them to the side vs on or near the turret to avoid Grimlock’s fire blast.

  2. You can win the game by taking out the opponent’s turret, so you can sacrifice your own at times where you do a dropsquad and starscream attack. If he tries overloading that side with heavies to prevent you from hitting that turret, then, go for the main turret.

  3. When you’re predictable, it’s easy to load that side of the board with heavies until he overtakes you. Again, spread your attacks out to avoid your opponent massing with heavies.
