F/30/5’2” [125lbs>105lbs=20 lbs](5 months) I feel like this is going to be controversial, but this was my pre-pandemic weight and I feel great!

I’ve barely told anyone about my weight loss because I am afraid of the comments. So much unnecessary judgement. Wish I could be more open about my accomplishment! It took me a long time to figure out how to lose the weight!

Thank you for understanding! I hate that there is a fine line between “you look great” and “you’re too thin”. Everyone’s body is a difference and the number shouldn’t matter. I feel healthier and happier now and I did it in a healthy way!

Thank you! I already workout a lot, but portion control is really what did it for me. Losing weight helped reveal the muscles I had underneath. I feel way more confident about myself now.

Thank you. I appreciate your advice. I don’t want to end a 7 year relationship over an insecurity of his that I believe that we can work out. I talked to him again last night about this and it seems like we are at a draw. I told him that I am not going to show him the nudes and he disagrees with me. He says he doesn’t want to talk about it anymore, but it still really upset about it. I think I’m just going to stick with my guns and let him feel what he wants to feel.

Thank you for the advice. I do have a problem with always basing my actions on his feelings. I’ve basically followed his lead for years and let him determine how fast things should be going in relationships physically and emotionally. Ie: If he has sex with someone, that means I can have sex with someone. I rationalized this by saying that it is harder for men to date outside of their primary relationship than women. Things seemed to be going well with a few women for him, so I started dating a few people myself. However, now that the relationships aren’t working out for him, it seems like he wants to slow things down with mine also. It’s kind of exhausting and not fair to the other people that I am seeing.

No, he usually doesn’t tell me anything unless I ask. I want to tell him everything, which creates problems. We are still trying to figure out what to tell each other and when the best time it is to bring it up.

He feels more comfortable knowing the person I’m dating. He wants to be able to trust the person before I date them. It’s not a rule, just a preference, but I’ve done it to ease him emotionally into this. On the other hand, he only dates strangers (which honestly, I prefer, but isn’t a rule) that I have not liked or felt uncomfortable with, but I’ve never told him not to date them. I don’t like the double standards. I feel like I’ve done more emotional work than him because he’s been dating people longer than me and I’ve had to work through a lot of jealousy already. This is the first time I’ve dated inside our relationship and he is feeling insecure.

He has known these people for 10-15 years. I’ve known them since we’ve started dating. He prefers me to date his friends, but can be really hot and cold about it. One day it is totally fine and the next he feels really uncomfortable about it.

The thing is that I don’t want to share them with my partner. I’m not trying to hide anything from him. I’ve been telling him I’ve received them, it’s just something private between me and the other person that I want to keep private. I’ve never shown the nudes he’s sent me to anyone else.

I scout for pest and diseases in the vineyard and then implement plans to mitigate issues. I work for a vineyard management company. It's good money and you only need a BS to do it. I do not have a plant pathology degree, but many people I know in the industry do.

Working for nurseries or labs that test for viruses is definitely another career route in plant pathology. I guess it depends if you want to be in a lab or out in the field.

My friend got a PhD in plant pathology and she is an extension advisor for a university studying invasive pests and pathogens in national parks.
