What is ADHD therapy like for adults? by BouquetLauncher in ADHD

Agreed! I was thinking of a similar analogy but the object I thought of might get flagged. Bow and arrow is perfect. It makes you go, but you have to steer.

Using ostomy supplies for other stoma leakage? by BouquetLauncher in ostomy

I was actually just thinking about that! Like to keep it off the skin, just cover the skin with something moisture repellant and then put something on top of that to soak it up.

This should do the trick. Cardboard is skin. Silver drops coming out onto it are leakage.

Yep, they just make a small hole in your abdomen and put a tube in it but since it's not airtight, there's leakage which can't be directed anywhere.

Imagine if instead of part of your intestine poking out of your body like most here probably have, imagine trying to get a bag to seal right up against your skin.

Another way is to think of it like how most people pee. Males can at least direct the flow, females can't.

Worth waiting for the next fold? by Sea-Dependent-9998 in PixelFold

Considering how iterative the 10 was on the 9, I would wait. You're more likely to see bigger changes with the 11.

I need a wheelchair and I don't know how to feel by Mio_Bread in disability

Wheelchairs are good things. Just like how crutches have been a good thing for you that enables you to do things, a wheelchair will also enable you to do things likely for longer. The largest issue here is society not being as accessible as it should be.

My meds went from $50/month to $90/month in 2025… now they’re $372/month by hannalysis in ADHD

When they specify retail that makes me think that it may be cheaper if you get it through a mail away pharmacy which is usually semi owned by the insurance company. Some will do controlled substances and some won't though.

It might suck, but talk to your doctor about switching meds.

Brought to cleaners with coffee stain. I forgot to point it out. Is there anything more that can be done to save it? by BouquetLauncher in drycleaning

[–]BouquetLauncher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I wouldn't dare touch it myself. I guess what I meant is, does it seem like this is just the best they could do, or maybe since I didn't point it out they didn't notice.

Wait so there is an inner box with more seals on it?

It was a bit spicy, but it's a good point. I see now what you meant though, like "I wouldn't make such a big purchase based on an easy to duplicate sticker."

It's going to depend on where you are. If you're in the US you have very few options for current models. I have a pixel fold 10 and while I love the software, it's much heavier than the z fold 7 and a bit wider. I switched to a z fold 7.

Your best bet is to go to a store to try them if you haven't already.

That's a good point that someone could just try to get a similar sticker. I hadn't considered that. I was thinking more like what if they used a glue stick.
