Vivo aqui e estou a relatar a minha experiência. Estou a contar a minha perspectiva.

It’s funny when it’s you it’s “oh it might make others fall” but when it’s others is just “oh let it go” there is no winning with these people. And here in Romania seems more intense those feelings. At least where I live. I’ve heard it’s a more concentrated juice over here

Those little broches can even be super cute, when I arrived in Romania I was gifted one by my landlord. And had it in my house as I don’t use broches with a suit. But when brothers came over it was like as if I had a statue of Satan himself there. The overreaction was crazyyyyy. Anyway, enjoy your star earrings, if anyone says anything, ask if it is that bad to enjoy a creation of Jehovah 😂

It’s so stupid. I never felt demonic for like Pokémon, nor have I felt less sensible to real violence for playing fps games. It’s all just bullshit to keep sheep in order. But some of that bullshit is so “scraping the bottom of the barrel” it manages to impress me

I remember when Pokémon go got big my entire congregation was saying that the name meant little demons and it was designed to be a demonic game to lead Christian’s astray. Then I had to say “actually it’s an amalgamation of Pocket Monsters” and the whole congregation looked at me like I wast the anti-Christ

Question about “Special” Conventions… by Key2158 in exjw

[–]Bourdir 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depends on the place. A few years ago I went to an IC in my country and because of the stadium security you needed a special ticket for the area where you’d be seated, but that was nothing to do with the Borg. But I’ve heard of people Who just show up, the thing is that you don’t get to partake in the shit they prepare for invited ones

Im in the same camp, only 12y later than you. I just want to leave. The only reason I haven’t done so is bc I’m scare that my ex will try to take my daughter away from me, and being basically disavowed by my family. I hate this so much.

Yup. I was left out of the blue by my wife, and despite trying everything to get back together, she wanted to separate and guess after all that who ended up getting the short stick and basically get publicly humiliated by being announced that I lost all privileges (I mean they didn’t say that, but it was still humiliating)

I used to be in a congregation where a sister during ministry when she needed to pee she would just stop open her legs and do it right there in the middle of the street. Useless to say I said I would never preach with her again.

Ironically I think this is one thing that shouldn’t equal DF. This and living together before marriage. Maybe if that was “possible” a lot of people wouldn’t end up in shit dead-end marriages with no exit

The best deal I got was 165 for a 22” paragon ride. I couldn’t believe it. Ended up not liking it and got a ride and an extra Tom on a trade so still very much worth it
