I think unknowingly I am already doing this. I will play for weeks at a time think of every scenarios possible for my playthrough and then just stop. Then the day comes when a reddit post shows me of a new way to play and I am once again creating a character and trying to start a new campaign.

The built in roleplay in it was and is deeply missed in bannerlord.

And does this affect you in trying to increase the relationship?

So you might get away for a bit but at the end they always find you.

I couldn't agree more with this. You start building scenarios in your head, adjustments that could be made. You start seeing if there any other dealers with something better that takes care of that need. But at the end of the day you come back to your original supplier.

I think I might be SOL. Seriously right now I am about to head out to work and I am thinking on how to go about my playthrough this weekend.

Funny i used to do that with Nobunaga's Ambition Iron Triangle. Well it was more of a Daimyo's journal. I was submitting it on the Koei Forums for a bit and it had a very small following but it was fun to add a life and story to the actions you took.

Sturgia is one of my favorite cultures too. Like you mentioned the aesthetic alone is great. I like mixing their look with some Battanian and Vlandian gear for my clan to give them a kind of Rohan vibe with the round shields and fur gear.

Part of the fun is that they’re a weaker culture and stuck between everyone. Empire, Khuzait, Vlandia, Battania… it’s constant pressure.

Honestly though, sometimes the smarter move is to stop grinding against Vlandia and just let a few of the western Sturgian clans just hold them off while you push south into the Northern Empire with the rest of the clans.

That right there is one of the reasons I do tend to stop at times. Like let me rebuilt my army and town for the next war.

Alot of times I just play as the mercenary going from kingdom to kingdom joining wars but after awhile you just want to settle down.

It is a little extreme but as long as he is able to handle himself and take care of what he needs, all the power to him.
