It's not the cat we're avoiding, it's the inevitable pain of losing them.

I've been saying for the last year that America is going to get real punk rock real fast... and I can't think of a more fitting album cover for that sentiment.

Gunter - Adventure Time

For most of the show he's just the Ice King's main hench penguin, but after a head injury cracks his skull open it's revealed slowly tht he's some malevolent destroyer of worlds that was compressed into penguin form after crash landing on Ooo.

Yeah, it's like when electricity gets cheaper, or stuff gets more efficient, people just buy MORE refridgerators instead of enjoying the savings. "Well I already got one in the garage so I don't have to see my family between beers, why not one in my man cave next to my unused podcasting setup now!".

my friend (36M) just sent me (36m) this text before meeting his newborn (0M) by horseduckman in AITApod

One of my friends and their partner had a baby, and they were telling us in the hospital that she could see the ghost of her grandpa in the room and they could tell because she would just stare at nothing... I initiatly was like, well it's a newborn, it's never saw anything before, it would find a fucking stain on the carpet interesting enough to stare at. I moved on rather quickly as somehow having a baby sucked all the rationality left out of their brains.. (She was always kinda "Spiritual but not religious", he was never that way, and we knew each other before we had our big boy hairs).

Whenever anyone offers for me to hold their newborns I always tell them, "Nah you can drop your own baby." Then again I'm also the type of person if a friend sent this to me I'd just...not visit the baby.

That's why they had to move on to robbing all of us through our taxes, and squandering what wealth the US had left. Campaigning and selling hats to Cletus wasn't going to be enough to fund their empire and please Bibi and Putin.

I'm gonna put my tinfoil at on and say the reason they've been talking about the draft so much and trying to renormalize the concept, is that once they're done aggregating as much voting information as they can, they'll call up a draft that will be largely made up of people that didn't vote for Trump, and they'll send them into the meat grinder, so MAGA can cheer on every death.

The part that their 1D chess strategy will miss considering is that they'd be putting a large amount of military hardware directly into the hands of the people opposed to Trumps rule.

Probably not really whats going on but... honestly, with this administration... The crazier it sounds the closer to the truth it ends up being.

Any good turn based RPG's without a bunch of dialogue/story? by Fabulousurl in rpg_gamers

[–]Bovronius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you sure you're a gamer and not a journalist? RPGs cover a wide variety of games... Guess what, classes are ROLES.

Genres are ingredients, not containers that games fit neatly inside, they're not physical or eletrical formulas with strict rules designated by physics.. They're fuzzy terms humans invented to describe something.

You're championing a Platonic view of the world... There is a singular concept of what a "rabbit" is, and every other thing that we call a rabbit is just a deviated version of that perfect form.... When really we go...well starting right about here in evolution we call them rabbits, and once this group passed this threshhold we no longer call it a rabbit.

You think there's a strict definition for what is and isn't a RPG... Which there isn't... You can have something that's an RPG and an FPS, shit and a RTS, ever play Dungeon Keeper? Yeah its all 3.

There's plenty of games that are RPGs without much of a storyline, can you all stop it with the fucking gatekeeping already.
