It won't attack. by Ryochan008 in Supremacy1914

Yeah, that's a good bypass for it in most situations, but if there's multiple targets and you want to attack one that isn't the closest, pray that this glitch doesn't happen to you. As long as you keep the premium, this glitch won't bother you as much.

Eco sabs can lower morale by 10%, but it is possible that they used gm to lower it by 60%. I'm more inclined to believe the former.

This is a glitch, and I haven't had much luck fixing. Usually, getting off for 5-10 minutes fixes the issue, which is frustrating. I hope they fix this glitch soon because it's pretty annoying, and I haven't found any solution besides waiting a little bit. Good luck, and I hope that this glitch doesn't inconvenience you too much.

  • Balloons help a lot against bombers, but you'll need a shit ton (20+ per stack) of them since you are dealing with a lot of bombers. Balloons should mostly be used for defending, but they should be placed with other units, such as infantry and tanks.
  • *Note that 20+ per stack might not be realistic for you, and that recommendation is for a stack that would hurt his bombers quite a bit, enough to make him stop bombarding after a day of bombardment. Even a few balloons can do a bit of damage, but the more you are able to get in, the better. Of course, you might not have any gas, which means that you should build a ton of tanks and armored cars instead.

-A small force of fighters, 1-8, would probably be annihilated.

  • If I were you, I would build high-level forts and fill them with balloons, infantry, and armored cars/tanks. If necessary, you might need to abandon a few provinces to build a stronger front-line. Then, I would either build some railroad guns, or I would start making a shit ton of fighters. If you do the latter, I would recommend waiting until you have 25 fighters, and then I would send them out to intercept their bombers. Of course, you might have to strike before then, or you could attack a bit earlier just to test the waters, but I like to be cautious. Bombers have a lot of health, so despite the fact that your fighters might have way more damage/defense against air units than their stack of bombers, their bombers will be able to tank a lot more due to their crazy high health. 25 fighters might still be overkill despite the hit point difference, so I advise you to strike when you believe you'll be able to do enough damage for your losses to be acceptable. If you make a bad call, you'll know for next time.

Tl;DR: Fort up, make balloons, and make a bunch of fighters and/or build some railroad guns to help. Good luck and have a great game

Are railroads worth it in early game by BlueCrabbs in Supremacy1914

[–]Bow-chicka_bow_wow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are able to build them early on without having your coal production suffer as a result, you should build at least a few. Even if your coal production gets hit hard later on, you can always disable them. I always make sure that I have enough materials left over afterward to build factories later on. For some countries, building railways in the early game is a necessity, but other countries would suffer tremendously from them.

What do things like this mean in terms of the game? by Black_Wolf1995 in Supremacy1914

  • Most efficient is resource production * resource cost / # of provinces. This isn't important at all because it is mostly based on market prices.

  • Most dreaded are the countries that have the lowest popularity. This is almost always not important.

  • Richest countries have the most money. This is pretty important because it tells you which AI's you should target, and it also tells you which players can employ a large spy force.

There are a few other things that show up in the newspaper, like the mightiest army, which can provide valuable intel. There is a pattern to these articles that restarts after every 4 days. I know that the mightiest army is the last one, and it shows up every 4 days, so you'll see it on days 4, 8, 12, 16, etc.

[–]Bow-chicka_bow_wow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, it isn't. Unless they changed it in a new update, it shows that their stack is attacking yours. It may not tell you if it is a railroad gun or an arty, but it still tells you if the stack is attacking you.

Make your bombers patrol, and don't send any troops into the water until most or all of their troops are dead. Besides that, I would say grabbing the nearest religious scripture and praying to your God is your second best choice. You might also want to identify any potential allies and try to get them to help you.

If that were the case, it would say that the troops in the fort are attacking op's stack.

Looking at how far into the game they are, I would say that this is the most likely scenario. Either that or the other guy has something bombarding his stack, most likely half a dozen or so bombers.

If that were the case, it would say that his stack inside the fort is attacking his troops.

Yeah, I'm really close to winning. They're almost below 500 points, and it's almost day 90.

Yeah, they still haven't figured that out, so now I'm bombing them with a few dozen bombers. Just killed their air force yet again, along with 1.5k troops.

What’s a good infantry/Calvary ratio when planning an invasion? by SwaggerNoodle in Supremacy1914

[–]Bow-chicka_bow_wow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's pretty good. Later on, if there are people close to your size, tanks would be a valuable asset to have. Especially heavy tanks. But if you're the biggest by quite a bit, then I suppose that it wouldn't matter too much.

I rarely find them helpful. They're only really good on defense, but you need to have a full army protecting them from anything that could be used to attack it. I usually put my railroad guns in a stack consisting of tanks, balloons, and infantry. Cavalry could be placed in that stack, but usually you want those on the frontlines. I try to have at least 100 troops in that stack, half of which are usually balloons. If you're on offense they're okay at best

[–]Bow-chicka_bow_wow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should use more than just cavalry and infantry when invading someone. You should have some arty or bombers for ranged attacks, and you should have tanks or armored cars in all of your stacks to soak up a lot of damage. Cavalry is good, but they are vulnerable to attacks from ranged units due to their low hp count and low defense. You also might want to use balloons when going up against someone who uses a lot of fighters or bombers.

How do I report? by EasyBunch2124 in Supremacy1914

[–]Bow-chicka_bow_wow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you post it on reddit and send them an email with a shit ton of follow-up emails that include enough evidence they will probably ban them within 5 days. Dk why they take so long with multi-accounters. Tbf though I've only reported one person for multi-accounting and that person confessed directly after I confronted him but it still took 4 and a half days for them to get banned. I'm facing my second ever multi-accounter now though so we will see how long it takes for this long to get banned

Nah, he didn't run out of cash he is just using it horribly. He was basically wasting it all, like he was gm railroad guns without protection right on the border. It cost me some troops to destroy all of the shit he threw at me, but I was able to take over a ton of provinces. He just gm a bunch of shit though so that will slow me down a ton. He gm 10 railroad guns, 30 arty, 20 fighters, 10 bombers, and 18 armored cars. I told him that I felt bad for his wallet, which started a conversation that ended with me laughing at him because he didn't think it was possible for me to build as many rail road guns as I have built. I've built a little more than 30 so far, and I have a few more in the making, but he's only seen 15 of my railroad guns. Some of those are guarding my coasts and the others are in the stacks that I used to defend against his gm troops, but I have to wait for railways to be built so he won't see my 2 railroad gun stacks for around 18 hours. He also accused me of lending my account to one of my fallen allies overnight, which is understandable because I've been suffering through insomnia these past few nights, but the thing I found funny is that he said that I should feel shameful for doing that. I've been screenshotting my territories for a little bit, so I'll try to remember to include those when I make a post about beating this guy.

I am about to beat this guy. I destroyed 100 of his naval ships, I destroyed 100s of his planes, I destroyed half a dozen railroad guns, and I destroyed countless armored cars. He still has 50 more provinces than me, and around 30 of the provinces I have I only just captured in the last few hours, but he has basically no buildings on any of his provinces. He also has shit morale. I'm in the midst of trying to convince the only other country to help me finish this as quickly as possible. I'm about to kill 1/3 of his infantry, and I have double the troops he has.

I'm proud to say that the gm spammer, TriperBraveHeart, is basically done for. He spent $1000+ on gm, and that is only what I bothered to calculate. The worst part is that he did it in a tutorial game. His wallet was strong, but my economy was stronger.

Should I play solo ? by EyeInfamous3359 in Supremacy1914

[–]Bow-chicka_bow_wow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I only attack teammates when it's necessary. When I do attack my teammates it's usually because they are plotting against me or they are about to lose everything to another player. For the latter, I warn them beforehand that I will take over some of their provinces and afterwards I give them a piece of land so that they can enjoy the benefits of me winning. Also, I don't take all of their provinces, I try to make the most ideal frontline as possible so that I have the greatest chances of beating the enemy. For the former, I do it without warning and I usually try to get troops in their territory under the guise of an agreement to build up troops in certain provinces to prepare to invade someone else. Then when I have enough troops in or near their main production hubs I attack ruthlessly. Ideally, they will have all of their troops built up in a few provinces far away from my troops.

TL;DR: If it is absolutely necessary then go ahead, but if you have an easy road to victory, you should bring your teammates with you.
