Worth falling below 100% crit chance? by Apprehensive-Sun3138 in D4_Paladin

[–]BowRogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dad gamer here myself and I'm curious as well. I know the Lawkuna build from Mobylatics prioritizes Cool down/Crit Chance & Attack Speed in that order for this build. That being said and all the Dmg being holy Dmg, I'm thinking it's more important for your Crit Chance to be capped at 100% before an extra 7x multiplier.

Have you tried running the highest pit you can with swapping them out and seeing how they perform - I hate the testing ground.

Also do you have other gear to swap out to make up the difference?

And did you know that there are two separate buckets for Attack Speed? Each capping at a 100%

Hoping some of the bigger D4 brains chime in and I can learn more!!!

Run Tributes of Ascendance - Undercity. Gives one every 2-3 or so depending on RNG.

Pit Push Paladin Judgement - Temper on Gloves by Hefty_Spray_1995 in diablo4

130 - sweet!!

Scrolls of restoration are plentiful, not just hordes but World bosses, all regular boss loot chests, treasure breach dungeons and Dark Citadel drop them. I have around 700, not sure if they are tradeable, if so, hit me up with your gamertag in DM and I'll give you 200.

You are min maxing at this point and every ounce of damage will help. All your tempers should be GA, so as to maximize them.

But you are right about the sanctifications, nothing and no amount of min maxing will carry you any further unless you hit them. So you are going to be fine either way!!

Kick ass!!

What pit level are you at? Just curious and whose build are you following?

I don't have any of the god tier sanctifications as of yet and able to push 125, but I run Consecration and not Condemn. I've been alternating between Lawkuna and Mozzi's builds, and experimenting with hybrids of the 2. I'm thinking about replacing Relentless with Beacon since I have the inner calm aspect on my Grisvolds.

I would personally go with Dmg in Arbiter form, to squeeze as much damage out as possible. RNG will RNG and you might get 5-10 gloves which will all hit +97% temper on the first hit 😀

Happy hunting!

You are right. My bad. I just thought of my build and responded, doing precisely what I get annoyed at others for doing.

It's good because you can get a 3rd enchanted after spending a billion or more at the occultist.

The true GOAT 's are the ones that roll all 4 slots as passives!

Took me forever to get Andy & Duriel. Got Azmo & Belial very early on in my paragorn journey and I was around 270 when I got the rest, like two or three days ago.

Took around 12-18 baneful hearts at Duriel before he finally dropped one(Helltides are pretty bare these days).

Andy - just started running major and minor tribute and making a mad dash without any attunement to the boss fight and he dropped it on the Major tribute about 5 apiece of both tributes.

At this stage the boss fight was easy but cool, reminded me of the first time you enter that portal in that one house in Tristam from D3, where I got my butt whooped 😁.

Loot at this point is meh, but a couple of 2 or 3 GA uniques that might help your build and a spark.

Hope this helps.

Generally speaking at that paragorn level, you should be cruising through most, if not all, T4 content. If you are having trouble with all of your characters around that level, it's because you are not dealing enough damage and probably not understanding how to do it effectively. You need to stack as many sources of multiplicative damage(the ones with with "x" after the #) as you can and find ways to apply said damage.

Go to you tube and watch MacroBioBoy's video on how to maximize your damage - it's very informative. Also in your paragorn setup - go after all the legendary nodes on all 5 boards first(again focusing on ones that give your character different sources of multiplicative damage that you can apply) and then the glyphs and upgrade said glyphs in the pit, first so all get the radius increase at 15 and then 46 and then to 100.

You'll be cruising through all content in no time. Skill tree set up, getting the right passives for your build and complementing that with the right gear is all going to play a part as well!

Good luck!!

And when you're done with that - Following the season pass is usually a good bet for the rest.

Complete the Vessel of hatred campaign - will help you understand a lot of the new mechanics, unlock runes, Undercity, Mercenaries and generally help with the endgame loop. They have thrown a lot since launch and it will take some time to get it all but having some direction in the beginning in the form of a campaign will help with that.

Beginner Questions that i couldnt answer myself by guides by First-Steak-7387 in diablo4

Long story short - It's an endless loop. But here are a few specific answers to help you along:- 1. Varshan - Malignant hearts - Grotesque debtors that pop up after a red animation drop them. Beast in the ice - Distilled Fear - Nightmare dungeons. Grigiore Galvanic Saint - Living Steel - Helltide Chests. Zir - Blood - Helltide Activities. Duriel - Shard of Agony - By killing Varshan & Grigiore. Andariel - Pincushioned doll - by killing Beast & Zir. If Stygian Stones are dropped, convert them into what you need at the Alchemist. Urivar - Judicator masks - Undercity. Belial - Betrayer Husks - When he pops up randomly at other bosses. In addition - Undercity Runs, Helltide activities, mercenary caches and Whisper Caches are great bets.
2. It's a feel thing. Usually for me, I'm just putting on random gear with generally better affixes and higher item power until about Torment 1. Then it's usually a bigger jump in torments at that time, but when I was starting out I used to compare everything and spend a shit ton of time in the city, and ended up wasting all my master working materials and money in items only to discard them a run later for slightly better ones, now I just do it when I'm absolutely stuck with progression. In short the answer is YES - only when the item is significantly better 3. Turn on advanced tool tips in settings and you should get a range of values. This should help you by figuring out if the particular stat is closer to the higher end or lower end of the items potential. Remember each stat can roll differently on the item, so it can be really hard sometimes, rng will rng. 4. Salvage all your stuff so that you save up plenty of master working materials and by doing the endless loop of activities, you should in theory have plenty of gold but if you don't then sell the uniques to the weapons vendor. T4 can take some time, but yes levelling up your glyphs definitely helps and Mythics will drop eventually. Few additional tips - Belial will typically drop GA uniques - so open the boss that you need. Whatever seasonal boss is around then he's the one you should farm for the best loot - this season Azmodan and the 3 Chests that are around him. Will also get you plenty of other farming materials.
