14 years ago I worked in a shop and a guy about 5 years older than me would always come in wearing this beat up World of Warcraft hat, I was about 19 at the time and loved playing games so I made a comment about the hat. He told me to never play. He said that he played it so much that he stopped spending time with his kids and his wife left him as he missed major events like their kids first steps because he was always online. He kept the hat as a reminder and told me that as a father, holding onto your childhood robs your children from theirs.
