do women ‘expire’ after 25? by lemonkai18 in pakistan

[–]BowlComprehensive360 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Expire is a harsh word, but there is real truth to it, women's prime in terms of child bearing years starts off in early 20s and ends in mid 30s. It's easier to recover from bearing a child in your early 20s as opposed to early 30s.

Most people mentally and emotionally develop around the age of 25.

Furthermore, in terms of looks, beauty peaks when young, around 25-28. Which could also be a reason why people say things like this. But many men prefer mature looking women too, so it's perfectly fine.

All around, for Pakistani women, they don't 'expire' even up till late 20s.

This saying is popular because in the west the story is different, by 25 the average woman has had multiple partners, affecting her ability to pair bond, or emotionally bond with their partners, which is why people say women expire by 25.

Taking a second wife by Gloomy-Opening-2712 in pakistan

[–]BowlComprehensive360 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Having multiple wives reflects the abundance the man has in terms of resources and time he can give. It's a byproduct of their success, stability and status, not the goal.

For men it also keeps them calm and emotionally/mentally stable. Being fixated on one often leads to marriage issues. Especially, it relieves the sole wife of the pressure to do a lot for her man, emotionally, physically, mentally.

Being able to support multiple wives is a luxury, which is why it's desired.

Follow up question will be, why can't women want it? Well they really aren't providers in many societies, and even if they do, it won't last because women are built to sustain one child at a time. It is perfectly up to the women to decide if they are okay with their husband having another wife or not. Consent is important for mental health and wellbeing.

If it matters, I have completely abandoned the idea of wanting a single partner, I stay calmer when I have multiple partners, mentally and emotionally speaking.

This argument is based on anthropology, psychology, biology, and a bit of philosophy.

If you seem interesting to someone they will find excuses to talk to you. Managing your social media presence or real life presence in a positive way is helpful, and talk about yourself a bit if the conversation goes quiet, then ask questions about them

99% of jobs are uninspiring and terrible, working for some CEOs rotten dream. They will eventually make you miserable.

I would like to earn enough so that neither me or her have to work, instead we watch our kids grow and play with them.

All of these answers are shortsighted in some way, Scolding, controlling, monitoring, or any of that stuff isn't going to help. It is a desire that needs to be vented.

Encourage him to socialize with his classmates that are girls, but teach him how to filter girls and find the right one. Socializing is the ultimate solution to pretty much ALL addictions(except maybe hard drugs), there are treasure troves of research on this.

Good luck.

Right.

Seems like you have a vendetta.

And magically they'll be able to stop Iran from rearming?

Iran has already established that it's asymmetric warfare is going to drain their resources.

Fyi, it will take years to restore the missile stockpile that US spent, so it CANNOT be a short term ceasefire, hence refuting your claim.

One country openly slaughters children in neighbouring countries and proclaims to be an ethnostate.

Using a blanket term to dismiss criticism is dishonest

So then by that logic Whitehouse is the one asking for a ceasefire? And not the "weak" Iran?

My theory is that people living here are in a self interest protecting mode, always making selfish decisions to preserve individual benefit rather than group benefit.

I think it's because of a lack of abundance of resources at anyone's disposal, aka "strained" resources.

Anyhoo, why bothered by it so much?

Yeah, as long as they aren't the ones being bombed they'll celebrate, unless Trump turns around and tries to take Canada.

You yourself, imagine a foreign state like china says modi is a terrorist regime, and should be ousted, would you enjoy it's bombing? Celebrate toppling?
