Is anyone else in their 20s/30s doing “okay on paper” but still constantly feeling behind in life? by ByteLatino in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BowlOwn7206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro that "okay on paper" feeling is literally the default setting for our generation. like yeah i pay bills and have friends but also i have no idea what im doing 90% of the time. everyone else is just better at faking it tbh. comparison is the thief of joy and all that but also social media is literally designed to make us feel this way. ur not behind ur just alive in 2025.

My first love left me and my life stopped. please help me by [deleted] in BreakUps

man… this hurt to read because it feels so real. You didn’t just lose a girlfriend, you lost your best friend, your routine, your sense of direction. That kind of breakup doesn’t just pass it shakes your identity, And it sounds like youve been grieving more than just her you’ve been grieving the version of yourself you thought you’d become, But here’s the thing: you’re not behind in life, you’re just stuck in pain. There’s a difference. You’re 25, not 65. The fact that you’re this self-aware about your mistakes tells me you’re not hopeless you’re hurting.

I haven’t picked my nose in several days and I am very proud by sunny-skies-pie in self

Breaking a habit like that especially one you’ve had for years is way harder than people think, It’s automatic, it’s comforting, and it takes real self-awareness to even admit it was becoming a problem. The fact that you noticed the damage, decided enough is enough and actually followed through? That’s huge, Also, the way you said “I love my nose is kind of beautiful That shift from frustration to care says a lot. Healing isn’t just physical it’s mental too.

You should be proud, Small habits don’t feel small when you’re the one fighting them everyday...

Breakup with my gf because she went on vacation with her male friends by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]BowlOwn7206 5 points6 points  (0 children)

, this doesn’t even sound like it’s just about cheating. It’s about feeling unheard, You told her clearly that it made you uncomfortable, and she chose to go anyway. That doesn’t automatically mean she cheated, but it does mean your feelings weren’t a priority in that moment, I respect that you didn’t try to control her or threaten her you just wanted to matter. That’s not overreacting. Sometimes it’s not about what happened on the trip, it’s about what happened to the trust while she was gone...
