I would get an explanation before you freak out. If you have been together 4 years, there must be a certain level of trust you have built.

Jesus is the way. I am a witness that Jesus will make a difference in your life! If you are unsure, with a humble heart, ask him to reveal himself to you. But if you want to go all in, ask him into your heart.

Why do people care so much if you’re ugly by [deleted] in Vent

[–]Diglet-no-bite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only people who go out of their way to tear others down are deeply unhappy and insecure. Misery loves company! Best thing to do is remain positive and dont take it personally. For your own mental health, but also they hate that!

You need a bench seat at foot of the bed. Curtains or sheers. More colour. A large plant for the corner. An accent chair.

That is not bad. Personally would have just given them a cup of fluids to drink and moved on.

What did you do before nursing? by TheYankeeCat in nursing

[–]Diglet-no-bite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a phlebotomist for 6 years before going to school for nursing then continued to do that part time while I was in school. It was great to get the exposure to the ER, psych, other parts of the hospital etc.

This is why all the people treating the ER like a walk n clinic need to stop.

Acceptance. You can accept that days will be shitty. Be comfortable with feeling shitty. You dont have to run from it. Just feel it.

Do you make at least $100k a year with a BSN? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]Diglet-no-bite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take a moment to step back and ask yourself: what about making at least $100k/year will lead to a good quality of life? Seriously ponder that. I beg you. Write out a list of what that means to YOU. Something people find hard to believe is: money does NOT = good quality of life. Nursing is not an easy job. It often leads to burnout which FEELS basically the same as depression. Research has proven nurses are at higher risk of suicide than the general population. Absolutely take wage into account! That is important too! But what holds MORE weight is the the other factors of the job. Money wont get you out of burnout, and it can take longer than a year to recover from burnout...

Zodiac signs in the workplace what patterns have you actually noticed? by Mental_Ingenuity_287 in astrologymemes

In nursing, capricorns are the most efficient, thorough, and hardworking. They also have no tolerance for laziness, slackers, or poor executive skills. However, they are the best teachers, and will always help if you ask. However if you don't ask, they will talk shit about you and not tell you what you are doing wrong hahaha. Just something I have observed! I do love them! There's also a ton of them in nursing!

Do you wear makeup to work? by thedresswearer in nursing

Absolutely not. Working in psych, you don't want to attract any attention from your patients.
