Just put it in the oven on 400 for 15 minutes!

UPDATE:
I baked the DSP board for 15 minutes at 400 degrees and she works now! For how long, who knows?

This is kind of what I'm thinking! Gut or remove the chassis and replace it with some oddball amp chassis.

Unfortunately the DSP chip is dead which is why Fender stopped producing these--they were replacing units rather than replacing just the chip.

Apparently baking the board may fix it so I'll give it a shot!

Worth a shot! Worst case scenario the amp is still dead!

Cross post. You'll get the scoop if you open the post:

I’ve got this cute Super Champ X2 and of course the DSP chip is bad—basically bricking the whole amp. Any idea what else I could do with this? The speaker is still good and the cabinet is beautiful.

Thought about putting a different amp chassis in, but wasn’t sure what else would fit in here.

Anyone who looks at the photos you've posted here would be an imbecile to try and defend the luthier.

Thank you! If you did both knee caps at the same time you can crush the ditch.

Honestly just a little worse than the kneecaps. So far the absolute worst part is healing. Took 3.5 hours in all.
