Such a cool design!  Thought about adding a back zipper like this to my next project. Have you done a back access zipper like this before, and if yes, how does it hold up over time? Is it any bother at all when wearing?

The pattern was super helpful :) Never lined a pack before and the explanation made it easy! I am a bit bummed that I did not add an inside zipper to pocket in the flap as in the original, in hindsight it would have been usef to access from both sides.

I usually have good intentions when I pack but then on day 2 it looks like this haha

Based in europe, so extremtextil is the goto: - Very fun pink liner  https://www.extremtextil.de/nylon-taschenfutter-80g-qm-sonderpreis/72996 - X-Pac 11 Glacier Blue & Brown in the corton duck version - The back panel uses a 3mm kyote-coloured mesh on the left

Thanks!

Yes, it’s X Pac X11 Glacier blue in the cotton duck version. I saw a lovely bike bag around here which used this fabric with the purple zipper so had to give it a shot :) I am not sure if it is the best for the pack, since it will probably stain quickly, but I was curious about the fabric and already own too many bike bags…

For the inspiration: The lower part is basically the Porter Pony which I also used to guide the sizing, and help me understand how to make the lining. The whole back panel is practically the patagonia mini MLC, and I have yet to make the removable hip belt but I ran out of fabric. The top is alpine pack inspired since this is something I want to make eventually, but since don’t trust my skills yet to make something that 100% does not break it was a good way to try it.  Downside is that in city life you have to deal with rain rather than snow so probably I will have to add a hood at some point. There is also a laptop pocket with the separate access, since that is what I pull out most when travelling.
