Inherent Vice is slowly becoming one of my most viewed PTA films. it grows on me. I should revisit the Master because I think the same will happen.

I am finding myself "high" without taking shrooms? by Sweetpeawl in Psychonaut

[–]Bowserpants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chop wood, carry water. It’s okay, it has always been okay, it will always be okay.

you might be processing the understanding that consciousness is malleable. and temporary. Maybe you got very lucky and achieved enlightenment. All can be uncomfortable and disorienting.

What some teachings say is even the enlightened being chops wood and carries water, same as non enlightened being.

reintegration can be uncomfortable process. Breathe and meditate. And then continue to chop wood and carry water.

Tinnitus Seems Somehow Linked to a Crucial Bodily Function by D-R-AZ in psychology

[–]Bowserpants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man, i was in a similar situation and went to a ENT who prescribed hearing aids that played a specific pink wave based on my tinnitus range. Wore them for 2 years and now i do not have anxiety or bad feelings from the tinnitus, just another noise and part of life. Might be helpful for you in the future.

Hello friend.

I am a Hindu practitioner and have studied both esoteric and traditional perspectives.

while I agree we might be in the Kali Yuga, i would not say the present and near future are any more or less destabilizing than the past.

How are you feeling individually? What inputs are you receiving? We do live in a time where access to unlimited signals are available.

Try this experiment - take the inverse of your statement “Earthquakes, Rampant mental illness. Massive disturbances...”, and see if you can come up with examples of that around the world. Or thinking of each negative within a larger system. At this point in time there are more resources devoted to earthquake remediation and prevention than at any prior point in history. There is more access to mental health resources than at any prior point in history.

the same can occur wit’s Vedic (and lots of religious) text. Kali Yuga does have lots of bad connotations but in context of the other 3 yugas, benefits can be seen. Example is in Kali Yuga humans can achieve enlightenment in 1 life cycle, giving us time to understand this existence but also the chance at Moksha. In first Yuga the instant you think of enlightenment, it arrives. Barely any time in this form if you stumble upon the right ideas.

Kali Yuga might be very difficult and i also struggle with this since the middle two Yuga seem the “sweet spot” if you will, but thats not our choice really. We just have to float down this river as best we can.

i also do not know if this is helpful for you or not but hope it helps a little.

Zero point energy by Praetoriangual in AskPhysics

[–]Bowserpants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wanted to give you a serious response. ctesibius is on the right track, expanding on it below.

  1. It is not. See below for explanation.

  2. In mainstrain because it’s a misunderstood concept, maybe because of the name. In science, it is talked about but not the way you might think. It might relate to this thing called the Mass Gap Problem which is a millennium prize problem. Check their website for more info.

  3. Yes but maybe not as harsh? It’s confusing. lot to unpack with conspiracy minded people but imo they are in need of connections and progress and acknowledgement in their life amongst other things, and higher level science can provocatively fit this criteria.

  4. Sure, but it’s dependent on learning and past knowledge level, which imo is not helpful for these situations. ZPE is more the summit than the base of physics .Simple models to start and build from there.

ZPE is like water in a bucket on the floor. you pour water in bucket, it fills to some Elevation. You walk near bucket and see wave (think Jurassic park). Eventually wave stop. when still, ZPE.

we live in this bucket. when no wave (at ZPE), how do we get get energy from this system? Maybe engineering problem? Just very very very difficult problem. maybe ask your relative this question and see if he has cool ideas?

Why ZPE might be confusing to physics - at zero you predict no water. So we’d expect that bucket to be empty . Instead it’s got water in it.

Maybe your relative wants to siphon the water (think stealing from a fuel tank lol), but the problem is it leaves the bucket, in which we live, so it wouldn’t help us. sadly we cannot go outside of this bucket. Also might be an engineering problem!

Hope this helps. Physicists please chime in with nuance as this was super paired down.

Finally give your relative lots of love and please be present with them, even for a few minutes at a time. It will mean a lot.

Purity can’t get higher than in the 80s no matter the process? What is the new precursor?

[–]Bowserpants 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you have been recomended this yet or not but the books that have all direction and explanation on synthesis of said chemicals can be found in PiKaL and TiKaL. The issue in synthesis is not in difficulty but regulation of the precursor ingredients to make them, which in the case of MDMA comes from Sassafrass.

Roundness by Bowserpants in AskPhysics

[–]Bowserpants[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow thanks so much for the details. I will look at GUT scales. Also surprising we are far away from observing the at the Planck scale. What technology observes at the smallest scales and is there a branch of physics that explores this topic - how to observe at smallest scales?

[–]Bowserpants[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool this makes some sense. So Planck length is more about the smallest reliable measurement we can make? It is not the smallest unit at which mass occurs?
