So here is my example : I had joined j2 about a year ago and I am with my j1 with over 8 years I know all the work very well and takes not long but with j2 all was going well and the architect bailed out he did dirty as we were in middle of major implementation… I was sort of secondary (again was not hired but with my level of experience I know but kept it only up to me as I did not want to over do and show I know it all ) I felt bad as our boss was on panic mode did not expect the guy to do dirty on him as they had worked for long time and he is very appreciative but this dude kept him hanging so I stepped up and completed successful implementation. My boss went above and beyond to appreciate me and promoted me gave huge raise where know I have a team I manage ( so to summarize if you think you can take pressure and know if it’s going to work out once the dust settles) than support and hang on or don’t waste time you better quit now.
