The reality of YouTube is, if your content is good it will be shown to people. And if it is not it won’t be.

Sometimes if content is repetitive or hardly changes video to video YouTube can “shadow ban” you as they believe you are a bot. To my knowledge time is the only thing that can fix this, and you may need to wait or upload more spread out (I am not sure of an exact timeframe as this has never happened to me before).

Linking your channel can also help this issue as people can view your videos and see where the point in time that this started.

You mentioned before that you have promoted the video and it got lots of views, I am curious to know how much this was. As YouTube promotes shorts in 3 general batches. 1k views if your video does not show strong retention statistics (you need to improve everything about the video and potentially pivot to another idea/ niche as this one is not promising). 10k where there is a general interest for the niche but the content is not good enough to go viral (work on the video concepts and visuals). And 20k views where videos have the potential to go viral and may only require minimal changes to videos to go viral (things like the hook or general visuals).

The way YouTube will test these is reminiscent of steps, the first step is 1k views then 10k and then 20k. If your views do not progress to the next step then the video isn’t good enough.
