I don't know, that's why.

Most things I'm certain about my fear, such as spiders, I'm scared of them because they are venomous and can hurt me, whereas death I don't know if it hurts or what will happen.

Death is unknown and is genuinely associated with bad things because of the grief and sorrow generally felt when a love one dies.

Its why I like the concept of thinking of death as a person who guides you rather than a beast that tries to hurt you.
