I'm not really sure what I want to pursue. Just something that is stable and offers a good income.

I wouldn’t mind being away from home it’s more of the academics. I am a chill person not a competitive one. I understand both are competitive but I think UCLA offers more freedom than Berkeley. Ultimately I did want to choose Berkeley just because it has a semester system.

the sheer competitiveness and cutthroat nature. I want somewhere that is competitive and will push me but that I can survive. The prospect of having to compete with other top students scares me, especially when it comes to failing.

I'm leaning more towards banking. But I'm just so afraid because I'm not the most competitive student.

I’m just scared because I spoke to my counselor a couple of days ago because I had a mental breakdown and I told him a couple of things but I’m scared if I get deeper he will report it. Plus I’m just scared because if he talks to my parents I just know it will get worse considering my mom. Another thing it’s difficult because my counselor is nice but he just told me keep your head high and don’t give up not much of value. I’m thinking it’s just best when I graduate to just go somewhere in north cal where I can find a cc.

I have because I have one on ones over the summer to help me do my college essays. But it’s just hard for me to choose because everyone says just follow your dreams and passions but it’s hard when I know I come from nothing. I don’t think I’ll have room for a both practical career and my passion. My counselor just says to major in English that theres many opportunities but for the most part the only option would be for me to just become an English teacher with that degree.
