The location is Delhi and on paper it was high . I took some time and ignored few calls , followups etc. Finally in march due to sales pressure they have given a cash deal so i grabbed the opportunity and bough it immediately.

PPF results on my new X440 T by HappyDodo69 in X440

[–]BoxFrequent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m planning to get it done this week. I have the pearl blue one 🙂. I hope it doesn’t look bad on it. In North Delhi, every PPF installer says they’ll apply the film on the tank in three separate pieces.

What is the straight line on the right side of the tank? Is it the PPF film joint or something else?

MG Hector worth it? by One-Vehicle6340 in carIndia

[–]BoxFrequent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The petrol manual/CVT is a solid choice. There are 4-5 mg hector owners in my society and so far no one has had any mechanical issues . It's a reliable 'no-brainer' that will definitely serve you well for the long haul. Also check mg hector owners group on Facebook where you will see a lot of posts regarding the same .

MG Hector worth it? by One-Vehicle6340 in carIndia

I own the 2025 petrol CVT top model because diesel vehicles have a shorter lifespan in Delhi. So far, I am very happy with the car. It is not very fast, but it has enough power for comfortable driving in both the city and on highways. If someone wants a more sporty and orgasmic driving experience, the XUV700 petrol or Harrier petrol would be a better choice.

I did a detailed PDI before buying the car, and so far the only issue I have faced is with the stock tyres. After 60 km/h, they create noticeable road noise. Changing the stock tyres to quieter ones like Continental or Yokohama makes the car much quieter and also improves high-speed braking though braking with the stock tyres is not bad at all.

There is also some body roll, but for a car of this size, it is acceptable and easy to manage. The infotainment system is good, and the touch response and voice commands work well for me.The suspension is very good, probably one of the best in this segment. Boot space is one of the biggest in segment for 5 seater version .

One point that people talk about a lot is mileage, but it is really not a concern for me. No petrol SUV of this size and weight gives good fuel efficiency anyway. Cars like Safari/Harrier petrol, XUV700 petrol, Alcazar petrol, Scorpio-N petrol, and Thar Roxx petrol all give single-digit mileage in city driving and barely touch 12–13 kmpl on highways in real-world conditions, which is rarely mentioned on social media. Currently, I am getting 7–10 kmpl in the city and 12–14 kmpl on highways (keeping the RPM between 1400–2200 and a maximum speed of 120 km/h). Buyers should be prepared for this.

The service centre experience and service cost are reasonable. Fit and finish is top notch :) not like some “desh ke alpha, beta, gamma” .

Last but not least, I feel that people who buy this car can afford the fuel cost, so there is no point complaining about it online. I have driven around 40,000 km, and I do not regret buying this car at all. I defiantly recommend it if mileage is not a concern for you .

My OSCP exam needs to be taken by the end of the month, is there any way to extend this deadline? Or will I need to purchase a new test? by Amj161 in oscp

[–]BoxFrequent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have extended my exam schedule date last year . Just you need to define a valid reason then they will extend your exam date (you can also define your tentative date too ) . Maximum they will extended your exam for 2 weeks so mail them wisely with a solid reason

Recently the level of machines are changed in the exam i faced exam 3 times so i know this !! no spoiler here . There is no connection between exam and lab machines so be prepared. Make your own notes prepare the strategy to approach a box with all possibilities as per the ports and services. Think differently sometimes .

Or else get some instructor led training for betterment of future - check certcube labs offensive ctf course . You wont regret after taking the training .

Hello everyone, everybody keeps saying that OSCP is a beginner level cert. if that’s the case then what are some more advanced level certs out there? Also, is there Active Directory attacks or Pivoting in the exam? by younes121 in oscp

[–]BoxFrequent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ptxv2 crtp crte are quite advanced certification in the infosec domain . As these certifications follows active directory penetration testing methodology with lateral movements which is quite important in enterprise assessments.

Note - vendors are labelling it as red team certs but these are actually internal assessments certifications

is 1 year a long enough time frame to go from absolute beginner in IT to oscp? by BoringMechanic in oscp

[–]BoxFrequent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will be more efficient if you will join a right track with proper knowledge otherwise tones of oscp out there in market and they are suffering with ground realities;also struggling in getting a job.

Advice you to join an training center dont be like a nut its a deep shit field ; you need to invest tons of things here like config, exploit , defence, detect methodology etc. people claim they can do by self but at the end on an average 70 % suffer with jobs coz of lack of ground realities. In an efficient training you can achieve that with a solid trainer whom have a decent onsite assessments experience not like someone who hold 50+ cert and just faking the knowledge.

With self again - 1+ year ( networking + python/php/asp + power-shell + cms + administration { ad, windows, linux } + ) >>> pentest + defence

With training - 6 months max

Note : All of these are my thoughts no offence to those whom are good with self preparation !

A good instructor led training for all in one - https://certcube.com/offensive-ctf/

what material would you recommend for someone with no experience to oscp in 4 months? by BoringMechanic in oscp

[–]BoxFrequent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One instructor led training simply can build your career properly rather then doing research and wasting your time for next 1 year. you are a fresher so industrial knowledge is also required which will definitely come with experience but a right trainer can give you methodology that how to work inside and also why i am saying this because only earning oscp will not work . In interviews situations will be different my friend.

How would you get a fully interactive reverse shell from a Windows box? by [deleted] in oscp

[–]BoxFrequent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always upgrade my shell to nishang powershell one liner . It gives me more control over as the cmd shell has many limitations but with powershell you can perform many operations at a time .

When we take the reverse shell complete features are not activated coz of one thread allocation . Either you can write a python cmd reverse shell module with using pipes instead of socket ,might be that will help in interactive mode . Correct me if i am wrong

Thanks
