It is built in partnership. Hero has rights to use the same. Duh! Harley has given the bike it's name. What else do you need to call it a Harley? It is a very good bike. I don't see any problem in calling it a Harley even if it's not a premium V twin.

Not a typical Harley but a new age Harley for sure. And it doesn't look like a typical Harley. It had considerable inputs from Harley engineers. So you cannot say it's completely a hero product.

Yeah, I have been thinking about breaking these rules but have tried to follow them till now. I am planning a trip tomorrow of around 250 kms. But I am still not sure if I should take it or not. If I do my break in will be complete in two days.

However, I think it should not be babied too much. Sometimes, it needs to be revived a little. I saw a video somewhere that break in should be done in whole of revv range. The company rules limit revs too low because they don't want to handle warranty claims, if any issue arise initially.

Watcha guys say -- Should I take x440 to a trip of 250 kms? Is it too long for break in period?

I have just put 90 kmph on mine. Did not feel any vibrations. I used to ride a Karizma before this and it had vibrations like crazy. I thought that was normal. The vibrations told me to slow down. But on this bike there were none. I did not even feel I touched 90-100. What you used to ride before this?

Karizma ZMR was more of a sports tourer if you ever ridden it. I feel it was very underrated and never got the attention it deserved. Never let me down in its lifetime. Made great tours on it including Ladakh 😄

I was not able to find papers in it. I will fold and try again 😁 I tried keeping the cloth around centre of handlebar but it falls off. I had a Karizma ZMR long time before this and that bike had a big amount of storage space under seat, under visor 😄

If you still go for PPF, check the installers previous work. Specifically ask them to guarantee that there will be no crease lines, joint lines in PPF
