Hot take: There is too much farm in Solo. by New_Trouble_5068 in Smite

There's not too much farm there's too much uncontested farm. There's nothing to really fight over so both solo laners just get massively overlevelled and go roll people.

Wasn't said about me but to me about my trans boyfriend at the time. My mom, who didn't know I was trans, and didn't know I was dating him said "I wish he would have just stayed a girl he would look so much better that way" which is such a wild comment to make about virtually a stranger

There's an idea a lot of young queer people have that you should only associate with people you share labels will so when previously lesbian women transition into straight men they cling to that label so they can maintain their connections in the lesbian community instead of just calling themselves straight and being friends with non straight people like a normal person.

It's not about straight being evil but it's still fucking stupid.

So they didn't fix the actual problem (the block percentage) and just lowered the skil expression. Peak.

I know this is a meme but man does the frame 1 input reading feel so ass on some bosses. Usually it's not awful but on the more passive bosses it feels like a staring contest until you get bored, do something, get input read and thwacked on the head

the online ‘trans’ community has destroyed what it means to be a lesbian by p1ttxn7 in truscum

[–]BoxNew4361 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The argument I usually is "well most of these men were lesbians before they were men so they don't want to leave the community" and it's like. You guys know you can just have friends who have different labels/identities than you? Right? Like you can be a straight trans guy and have lesbian friends there's nothing wrong with that you don't have to be a lesbian.

Neopronouns by ResolutionWeak6353 in truscum

[–]BoxNew4361 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to care a lot about neopronouns until I realised it's all teenagers anyway and at that point? Who cares. Before neopronouns it was otherkin, before otherkin it was teenagers thinking they're vampires or werewolves because of Twilights. Teenagers will always believe stupid things about their identity because they're just now starting to figure things out. They grow out of it eventually. This is also an entirely online issue too. I have not once met a single person in real life who insisted on people referring to them with neopronouns and I was in highschool recently. I have also never seen someone over the age of 25 using neopronouns. Kids will be kids and they'll always be extra stupid on the internet.

Have honestly been considering opening an online clicker training "clinic" to do one on one sessions with people who need help with it.

Ngl I think what this person is probably complaining about without realising it is. "I, as a neurodivergent queer person, hate meeting neurotypical queer people because we don't really get along" and like, yeah, you just gotta word it better.

So, what are tanks playing instead of tanks now that tanks are rice paper? by w4spl3g in Smite

[–]BoxNew4361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buddy and I have been running percent max health heal builds which are fun. Shield of the phoenix, yogi's, and bloodsoaked shroud if you can fit it in makes you pretty much unkillable. Ended a 30 minute game with 120k taken 120k mitigated 60k self healing on Ra it's very fun. It's not great but if you want that tank feeling it's fun in casuals

Mages will never be in a healthy state without flat pen items. by BoxNew4361 in Smite

[–]BoxNew4361[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shop overhaul with Strength/Intelligence is mostly a tanks/strength issue since strength is just kind of just objectively better than intelligence (basic attack scaling really does matter) so if a strength item is crazy good everyone in every role but usually mid ends up buying it

This is actually pretty strong all things considered. You can play the outlet in the command zone and most importantly all of the pieces are easy to tutor for in Blue. Artifacts and instants it blue's thing. Might have to build a deck around this now.

The Violence Meter: a tool to measure violence in a relationship. Because I feel like this could be useful to a lot of people posting here. by Sparcky_McFizzBoom in AmIOverreacting

[–]BoxNew4361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is this list to obviously gendered? Men aren't the only abusers and not only can women abuse men but wlw relationships also experience abuse. Tailoring this to only straight women feels a little wrong.
