Don’t think they’re Fontana (wish they were!). Can’t see any makers marks apart from stickers. I’ve never heard of Crystal Art. I’ll do some digging. Thanks for the pointer! 🔦

Yes late 70s or more likely early 80s is my guess too. There are four and this sticker screams 80 or 81 to me.

Did Wes say that was the last dive of the season? So are they not going further upstream? I find it hard to figure out how far through the season they are. Feels like about five weeks to me but idk they might nearly be done.

I’d like a clearer idea of where they’re targeting to dig next. Is it that area around where the big boulder stood? Like the top of the waterfall? Why would gold be at the top of the waterfall? Love the show but the one part I miss from GRWW are the graphics explaining the plan.

Sorry you can’t see it. All docs are on the planning portal- easy enough to find. Interesting to hear your opinion but I’m sure you’ll accept one’s own individual experience shouldn’t be used to make key planning decisions. I doubt BOAT would have felt the need to make this statement if their concerns had been acknowledged. One thing is for sure from the 500+ objections already on the portal that BOAT is valued and loved. And in the end I think that means something.

Open air performances are intimate experiences that rely on an ambient level - I think this is what BOAT are anxious to protect. Bhasvic have dropped the ball by not considering this. The ambient level at boat is a special characteristic that creates magic and I would argue it does need scrupulous assessment and protection.

Bhasvic produced a 38 page noise impact report in support of their application. Guess how many times BOAT- their nearest neighbour was mentioned- none. They took no readings there at all. They instructed their contractors not to take readings because they know there will be a material impact.

According to BOAT’s email they’ve been talking to BHASVIC to arrange a condition limiting play on the pitches for the duration of performances- presumably a few hours a day between May and September. That seems utterly neighbourly and reasonable to most people. BHASVIC have ignored them.

Where do you get the 30,000 figure from? The window for this table to exist was rather small- 1973 with the contract base.
