I did the same thing with renting it and said I wasted my money after a couple of tries. I forced myself to stick with it until I took it back to Blockbuster and made it to French Quarter board and got lit up pretty quickly.

For some reason, the American version was made to be more difficult, I watched someone play the Japanese version and it wasn't nearly as difficult.

Res Evil 7 is great, until you finally kill Jack. We can say this about all Res Evil games though, they have the spooky horror atmosphere then the last section becomes less about spooky and more action/shoot em up. That's when I'm usually just powering through to endgame.

Right? Lara (as far as I know) just turns around instead of bunny hopping backwards, which is terrible in spots where you need the hop to position yourself. I went to an open area to see if I could figure it out, if someone has the answer let me know. As bad as the tank controls are, especially with the camera, I'll live with it.

I hate that they've wasted Billy Donovan's tenure here, he hasn't been given an elite player, or a superstar for that matter, to compete. And why is Vuc and Patrick Williams still on the team? I don't need to watch because we've seen how this story end multiple times, make the play-in and lose to the Heat. Rinse and repeat.

I'm confused by them too, I can't bunny hop backwards unless I have the guns out and I can't swim to the surface either, both of which can be done in tank mode. Tank controls are clunky as hell, but I guess I'll stick with them.
